Forum members like to discuss upcoming WDW modifications, park improvements, and changes they’d like to see. This has me wondering, is there is anything in WDW that should never be changed?
At first I thought Main Street USA and Cinderella Castle are so iconic that they could never be changed. Then I remembered both have undergone alterations over the years, although they are substantially the same since MK opened in 1971.
Attractions frequently undergo refurbishments and sometimes are modified during these refurbs. Some "classic" WDW attractions have been completely replaced. I could envision the Monorail being updated or even replaced with a newer, more efficient system someday.
The only thing I could think of that might be unchangeable is the ''Partners'' Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Statue in the central hub because of the ill will that would be generated if TWDC tried to remove or replace it.
