What should be the next countries in World Showcase?

With all this talk of Spain, and my trip last week to Epcot, I have been thinking about what countries would do best in Epcot. Here are my ideas for a few countries that would be great additions...

Russia
Greece
India
Spain
Ireland possibly?
Austria
Egypt
All of these countries have so much history and their cultures would be great additions to Epcot.

Can you imagine ancient Greek or Egyptian architecture in the World Showcase?

I really do not know how feasible it would be to add these countries, but I think it would be a fun subject to discuss anyway. :)

The only other country I would actually enter World Showcase to see would be Egypt (or, actually any potential pavilion containing a major ride).

Sorry but that concept is being included in a redesigned UK pavillion. And Fish n chips is being replaced with a ruby murray.:slurp:

   Love it - in fact why not get rid of the World Showcase and replace it with the UK - theres that many cultures within the country you dont need to travel around the world :-
China - Plenty of takeaways & China Town
Japan - Koi carp found in many a garden centre
India - The "Curry Mile" found in Rusholme, Manchester
Italy - Theres a Pizza Hut in every town !!

Try living between Leicster and Coventry and working in Wolverhampton, its like passing through the entire Asian subcontinent, but boy does it provide for exceptional rubys.

I know this isn't a country, so keep your snide remarks to yourselves... (just kidding).
I think it would be a great idea if they had a South Africa area. That way, they could have white, black and even Asian people working in the country, as a show of solidarity between different people.
To me, post-apartheid South Africa is a perfect example of what the World Showcase is supposed to be about -- having people of all walks of life together. That way, you can celebrate diversity as well as have a feeling of community.
Plus having an African country other than Morocco that isn't the embarassing "Outpost" would be a good thing. I hate the Outpost.

I would love to see greece or Egypt. Both countries have a rich history and great architecture from that time. Each country also has the potential for a major ride.

I probably wanna see Switzerland.

A ride based on chocolate, mountains, clocks and small arms manufacturing ..... sounds fun. And dont forget the shop selling the fabulous array of Swiss army knives.

Thats a good point....
In fact, after I returned two days ago I heard that that great Celtic Rock band (Off-Kilter) who reside at the Canada pavilion are in jeopardy because the cheap Canadian government wo'nt cough up the cash it needs to keep them going.

Yeah...that'll be happening the same day all four parks are linked by monorail.
