What should be the next big project at WDW? I know we'd like most if not all... but what do you think is the most important next project WDW should do?

Most of the choices I like.

As much as I want an Imagination Pavilion redo before a Stars Wars Land. It is not as important as Carsland in my eyes.

I say Carsland for multiple reasons. The first thing is Epcot has World Showcase, Test Track and Soarin to spread Epcot out and DHS right now has issues in terms of the back of the park.

While Carsland is no potter Swatter, doing something with the Backlot Tour area is a should be a bigger priority than Star Wars Land. Backlot Tour has been pathetic since the production part of DHS had been gone for years and is one of the reasons the themeing of the park is a mess.

Imagination Redo would be second my list on list since I remembered the glory days of Epcot and Imagination for that matter. If DHS isn't so much in a mess, I would have picked Imagination Redo in a heart beat.

I still don't believe Avatarland will be built. Maybe just wishful thinking. In my opinion, there just isn't a natural draw...I ask you - when was the last time someone said to you, "Wow, so I was bored Saturday night and I popped in my DVD of Avatar. Amazing movie! Can't wait for the sequel. Maybe I should camp out starting now so I am assured of great seats in the theater."

On the otherhand, Star Wars still has a following 30+ years after its initial entry. People still watch the movies, the theme weekend is a big draw, people are talking about the new movies.... to me, Star Wars area would be a major attraction. Heck, I remember back in the late 90's there was a restaurant in NYC that made it seem you went to Mars. It was a cool place to go - imagine what Disney people could do with something similar.

There are quite a few things the powers that be could do to really bring the 'wow' factor back to our home away from home. But as long as they are making a profit, and attendance keeps plodding along, there isn't a real impetus to change.

I think that each park should have a major project. MK already had theirs, I would like to see for Epcot, a redo for imagination pavilion, also update the "future" look, its starting to become outdated. For DHS, Star wars land would be a great idea, maybe a Lucas land, so they could incorporate more films into that area of the park. They should get rid of american idol experience and that sound show that's never open. Replace them with a simulation ride or something good for everyone. Make DHS a place to go. For AK, Avatar land sounds good to me but, the film was released awhile back and starting to get old, unless they release a new movie, I don't think it will be a huge hit. AK needs another land with major attraction in it. ALSO! MK, DHS, and AK, need new parades. MK needs a new firework show, wishes is amazing but its getting old. F! needs a major upgrade. Illuminations needs work as well......

I'd like them to stop spending ridiculous sums of money on things like Star Wars and instead pay people to clean the bathrooms, do maintenance, fix the tree and take the nets down, put in more street entertainment and do the landscaping up nice and pretty.

Demolish Chester & Hester's for a new country or Beastly Kingdom (wishful thinking). New attractions and Chester & Hester's are what is keeping this park from being the 2nd best (or even best) WDW park. Camp Minnie Mickey is also hindering the park, but that will hopefully be gone soon.

Though a more country seems more logical. I'm definitely thinking South America. And I would possibly keep the area around DINOSAUR, so we don't lose it, and expand some of Dino Land (just not any carnival crap).

I am ok with all those choices minus Avatarland at AK. Two years ago when the project was announced the Avatar film had a lot of appeal. Its two years down the road and I don't know about you but I think Avatar has lost most of its appeal. If they really wanted to keep Avatar in AK, I think it would be cool if they built Beastly Kingdom (unlikely) and included an avatar themed ride. It would fit in perfectly with the whole mystic creatures/dragon theme of BK. Cameron can front the cost for the development and building of the Avatar ride and whatever budget Disney was planning on spending on Avatarland could be fed into creating BK. Its the perfect solution for something that would never happen.

Star Wars Land. I think it would bring renewed life to DHS, theres already a large draw for Star Wars events/merchandise and with new episodes of Star Wars coming up there will be another generation of future fans interested. They've been a staple of DHS for so long, so it's time to ramp it up and branch out.
