Visiting disney world for the first time and we have 4 day tickets. Would you suggest we spend 1 day at each park or 2 at Magic kingdom and skip EPCOT... We have 2 girls ages 4 and 2.
thanks!

Here's what I recommend. Add the park hopper option to your ticket to go to more than one park a day.
Day 1: Magic Kingdom
Day 2: Animal Kingdom, then Magic Kingdom
Day 3: Animal Kingdom, then Hollywood Studios
Day 4: Epcot

I like this plan too! MK and HS are the two parks that generally stay open later, so it make sense to hop to them in the afternoons... plus this would give you a total of a whole day at AK, which IMO is great for little ones because they have so many animals to see, shows to watch, and characters to meet. I know others said HS has a lot for little ones, but IMO AK is definitely worth a second glance if you're still trying to decide how much time to allocate to each park.

thats another we didn't touch!! I found out There are so many thing *I* glide over as an adult that totally captivated her!

YES. Much as I tried to plan a trip that was all about my little guy, I learned that you just can't predict what will captivate them until you're there. He loved CoP! :hilarious: When I compare the list of what I thought would be his favorites to what actually were his favorites, I was way, way off.

Bottom line--if you're taking a little kid to WDW, be prepared to go off plan a lot, because things you never imagined are gonna ring their bells and slow you all down. Embrace it and don't worry about anything you might be missing! :)

Whatever you do is personal preference, but there is logic in park hopping.

Too much park hopping wastes time, but Hollywood and EPCOT are really close. I usually walk (maybe hard with kids) or take the boat. You can also hop between MK and EPCOT via the monorail. Know those tricks and you can move faster and plan better.

I've literally done every attraction and major show at all 4 parks in 4 days. It's a long four days and might not be your cup of tea and hard with kids.

Don't skip EPCOT though.

If the parks aren't crowded, it's even easier.
