What new action stunt show could be at AK??

At this point, I'm thinking...

Being so close to "ASIA", I'd hire a great group of Chinese acrobats to perform in a "Jungle" setting, with a finale that could include a parade of characters from the Jungle Book, Mulan, and Tarzan doing a medly of songs from those shows.

If done well, it could take on the appearance of a "Cirque du Soleil" show, with unique circus acts, original lighting and special effetcs, and orchestral score. I'd have Baloo and Mulan host the thing and lead us on our adventure to find Mogli and the gang.

Along the way they meet these awesome acrobats/magicians who help to move the story along...blah blah blah.....

I'm calling it: "JUMPIN' JUNGLE JIVE"

You heard it here first!

Three worlds...one family! :D

I'd assume they'd do a show similiar to the Animal Planet show over at Universal. I know they have the Flights of Wonder show that is similiar conceptually, but a show that conveys animal intellect would be interesting.

They already have that pocohontas show, thats close enough IMO. I personally would like to see something not only great and origional -but something that actually fits the theme of the land that it is in- come to the theater in the wild.

Tarzan Rocks is NOT leaving!

The word in the parks is that Tarzan Rocks is not closing, it is just being closed temporarily to have the same thing done to the theater that the FotLK theater had done to it...transformation into an indoor theater. The reasoning behind this is because of Everest being so close to theater that if it were to remain open all you would hear is the coaster and people screaming.

i'm hoping this happens! air conditioning is always better, plus it will feel more like a 'show' with better effects (especially lighting) in an indoor atmosphere!

That's actually a really good idea. But I think with the acrobatic monkeys in the Lion King show, they might consider that redundant and opt for a more "traditional" show. Tarzan had roller blading, something the other show didn't.

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
It involves a big target made from recycled props, rings of fire, a large catapult and some small marsupials. The second half features guests selected at random, but obviously lacking in dress sense some alligator’s raw meat and some of Tarzans old rope.

Personally, I think the Tarzan show gets dumped on a little too heavily. Sure, it's one of the weaker shows in the parks, but I think it's entertaining all the same. I especially enjoyed the swinging effects.

A Nemo show could be cool. It's easily one of my favorite Disney or Pixar movies.

Tarzan should replace Tarzan

Tarzan was one of my favorite Disney movies, but when I saw Tarzan Rocks! I was seriously disappointed. Tarzan has the potential to be an excellent stunt show. Keep the rollerbladers, swinging effects, find a way to successfully have vine surfing, remove the singers and really do a stunt spectacular and Tarzan can be saved. BUT that doesn't look like its happening so even though I don't think it will fit in, here's hoping to the best from NEMO.

Two things...

Number 1 They don't need to enclose Tarzan because the music is so darn loud you wouldn't be able to hear the screams. Rather they'd need to enclose it so the people on Everest can hear something besides Phil Collins in the middle of Asia. But if they enclosed it it would surely blow your ear drums and Disney would be sued. Just my opinion

Number 2 It would really be nice if they brought back the Jungle Book and just added a little bit more action into it.

These are just my opinions though and you don't have to agree with them.
