What movie is this?

I have vague movies of a movie I saw when I was a kid...probably only 3 or 4 years old. So maybe my memory is just playing tricks on me since I was so little, but I was hoping if I described what little I remember of this movie someone could tell me what it was.

I put it in this forum as opposed to general chit chat because I'm thinking it's a Disney movie, but maybe it isn't.

Anyway, here is what little I remember of the movie: there was some kind of character (can't remember if it was Mickey, Donald, or some other character) in a castle and there was a wicked queen who had a Giant. And she was commanding this Giant, named Tulip, to catch the character in question. Tulip fell down the stairs, apparently, and when he ended up on the ground, he broke into pieces and was just a bunch of nuts and bolts on the floor, as he was apparently just a robot.

I know, that's a pretty wacked out description, but you have to keep in mind that it is coming from the memory of someone who wasn't even 5 years old when he saw the movie. Assumming that I am accurately remembering this part of the movie, can someone help me out with what the movie might be?

Of course, I am thinking it was a full length movie, but I suppose it could have been a cartoon short.

According to wikipedia, there was a Japanese animated version of Jack and the Beanstalk from 1974 that involves a giant named "Tulip" and his mother, an evil witch, so this might be what you are looking for but it doesn't say anything about Tulip being a robot.
If you look up Jack and the Beanstalk on wikipedia it lists other verions of the story but that is the only one that mentions a giant named Tulip. It also has an odd and funny Freudian analysis of what Jack and the Beanstalk could be about that I had never considered before.
Other than that I googled Tulip the giant and pretty much came up with nothing.

That very well could be what I'm thinking about, because now that you mention it, I think the evil witch was his mother. Thanks for the info.
