What Movie do you want made into a ride?

Disney movies I would <3 to see as rides:

1) Beauty and the Beast (a proposed show w/ AA beast and castmember as belle 4 DLP, never happened)
2) Little Mermaid (another proposed ride for DLP that never happened)
3) Monsters Inc (I also thought it would be sweet to have a ride based on the closet doors)
4) Aladdin (could be like Peter Pan's flight but w/ the carpet)
5) Cinderella (ride in a pumpkin coach)

I'm glad someone mentioned the Fox and the Hound...Disney's MOST underrated movie ever

i love that movie, i would always watch it when i went to my grandmom's house

i never realized it was under-rated, i guess i haven't really thought about it for a while

That's crazy, I was thinkin the same exact thing. It would be a fantasic ride that be be effective made on the cheap. I was thinkin one scene you could cruela driven her car fast down the dirt road and she stops right before she hits you and you can see her face lookin all crazy.

Other ones i would like would be tron, jungle book, robin hood, hercules, chronicles of narnia after it comes out, a permanent nightmare before christmas dark ride, and a LOST jungle expedition ride after the series ends so all that is revealed can be included (i know not a movie but close enough).

thats creepy, i was thinking about a scene where you almost crash into cruella too

:lookaroun

well its under-rated cause its hardly talked about and you never see the film's characters

I never realized how horribly sad that movie was until I watched it recently...how I watched it as a kid without crying is beyond me

Monsters Inc for me as well, it's one of my all time favorite disney movies! I liked the idea of chasing the doors and Randal, I think that sounds like a great ride. :sohappy:

Okay – how’s ‘bout an Armageddon ride at the Disney/MGM studios, a simulator type ride with (four monitors one in the front one on each side and one on roof) and why not make them 3-D that would be cool. Oh and in an attempt to return to the studio’s roots have an exhibit at the end on the making of the film and any Jerry Bruckheimer (sp) that may be coming out (and place it before the store).

Treasure Planet would be great but must people don't even remember it.

Jungle book is a great clasic. Make it a dark ride for AK, something to get out of the heat.

The Monster's Inc. ride seems most likely of everything posted here.

Haha you're prolly remembering when the old lady sets Tod (the fox) free in the woods to save him from that hunter.

I have also liked the Monsters Inc. door scene and it seems like a no-brainer for a suspended coaster. I also like a submerged Little Mermaid ride. The music would be great! I always love the Jungle Book and it's music and characters as well.

how about remaking the movie tron and have a ride like the futuristic bikes that have random sequencing :)

Yes, most people don’t remember all the hulla-ba-loo over Tron, Disney had posters plastered anyplace they could have one, such as the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. I remember the arcade on Main Street had like 5 Tron games, and the parade (Electrical?) had dudes in the Tron outfits with the discs. I also remember Disney on Ice that year had a large Tronsegment that used black lights (cool stuff). Now I never saw it but I heard that Disneyland’s People Mover had a Tron segment. Oh and part of Dreamflight used footage from Tron on one of the big screens.

I think a Tron ride is well over due – a few years back there was a Tron video game that sold well and before that the 2-Disc DVD sold well and next year there will be a Tron comic.

Heck yeah! Look how much mileage George Lucas has gotten out of Star Wars why not dip into the Sci-Fi Disney vault. Tron or Black Hole both could use some space in Tomorrowland.

The Little Mermaid could make a good indoor/outdoor flume ride in the style of Splash Mountain. The underwater scenes are inside to the wet for dry thing, the above-water scenes are primarily done outdoors, it climaxes with the battle with humungo-Usula and a plunge back into the depths of the ocean... only to come back up to get married.

I like It, I like it alot!!

A dark ride of Mary Poppins

A Jungle Book Ride indoor/outdoor in AK

Emporer's New Groove the rollercoaster thing to get to the lab.

Tron would be neat, but best for Disneyquest

Sleeping Beauty Dark Ride

Little Mermaid Under the Seavoyage

Simulated ride of Hades Under World (like Spiderman at Univ)

And on a side note maybe Monster Inc. will come to WDW. Disneyland is getting a Monsters Inc ride in California Avdenture.

Heres to hoping!!!!

Well my brother had an idea for a Lilo and Stitch ride,

NOTHING like Stitch's great escape, but a roller coaster.

Title: Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride

Ride Vehical: Surfbord-Single File Line-with 4 people on a surf bord, and 8 surfbords.

Imagine this, it's a stand up coaster, it seats are faceing you when you get on, you take off up the lift hill facing the same way then when the train is out of the station the seats turn to make you facing stright ahead. The song Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride starts when your seat turns. You get started going down a small drop(space mountain) do some stuff to simulate like your surfing. Maybe a Corkscrew, and a Barrel Roll sometime in the ride. Plus there would be water shooting up at you.

What do u think

MickeyMan101

I almost forgot, This would replace Swiss Family Robinson Tree House, And i think the should get rid of Stitch's Greatest Escape(i hated it)
