What monorail resort?

I'm planning a trip for next summer and will be taking my mom on her first trip. She has some physical limitations and we will be getting her a scooter to help with all of the walking. I think that the convenience of staying at a monorail resort would be good for my mom as she might want ti take a break in the afternoon. My question is if you had the choice of the three monorail resorts what would you pick and why? Thanks for all of you advice in advance :)

The Monorail is convenient for MK and EPCOT only. I would probably choose contemporary because from the Magic Kingdom you have the option of the monorail or the path back to the resort for your mom. It's a short stroll.

I say Polynesian, monorail service to mk or take the boat if you wish. It is a short walk to the ttc depending on which longhouse you are staying at. Tahiti is abou a 4 min walk to the ttc, from there you may also take the monorail to Epcot. Then if she decides not to make a day of it in the parks she can always watch wishes and ewp from the beach area. I also find the theming of the poly much nicer and more relaxed than the cr and gf. As for food options Ohana's is a favorite of ours.

Thanks for all of your responses. We've been leaning towards the Poly but wanted to hear what people think about all three of the resorts. In your opinion is the one thing from each of these hotels that make them extra special and a place that has to be stayed at?

I would stay at the Poly just because I like the theming. Contemporary would probably be more compact for mobility. But if you put on your reservation that you have mobility issues they might put you in a long house that is closer to the Great Ceremonial house or the TTC (if you prefer).

I would go with the Contemporary, especially if she has mobility issues. Everything is indoors if you stay in the tower, and its a short walk and elevator ride to the monorail, as opposed to a longer walk from one of the longhouses at the Poly.

I would choose the Polynesian, just based on personal preference. I like the theming there the best, as well as the restaurants. It just has the most "magical" feel to it I think. I do love both other resorts as well, and would love to stay at any of the 3! :)
