What makes you miss it?

An Aerosmith song just came on Pandora radio and it got to me because it made me miss the RNR... but it also got me excited because we are going back in December. What happens around you that makes you stop and say "aww... I MISS DISNEY WORLD!" or makes you excited that you are going back?

EVERYTHING!

This site bums me out because Im SO jealous of everyone who are still waiting on their upcoming trip. Reading peoples trip reports bums me out because Im NOT there, but a sense of satisfaction because they aren't there either....ROFL

EVERYTHING makes me excited to go.

How ironic of missing things as Aerosmith sings about it...Everytime I hear this now...I Somehow always hear it as I exited Rock N Roller Coaster from the store/hallway/exit/plaza areas..

Anytime a Disney tune comes on my i-Pod. Especially the Epcot entrance music and Spaceship Earth soundtrack. It just gets me right in the gut. Also, anytime I see a Disney commercial offering "deals".

I'm a super anxious person, everything makes me anxious (OCD for the win) hotels typically freak me out (cleanliness). Disney World for some reason is when all of my 'anxieties' take a vacation, I know that the rooms are clean, and that the parks are clean (well, cleaner than six flags at least) There's a sense of security for me in the world, that I don't really have anywhere besides my own house. I think I miss that the most. I really miss everything, but that's what stands out the most to me.

I agree with the "EVERYTHING" comment. I literally think I say to someone every day whether it's my fiance, best friend, father, co worker something about Disney. The best medicine for withdrawl is planning your very next trip the day you get back from your most recent one!

Every time I look at my wife, 'cause she is (almost ;)) as big of a Diznut as I am, and we both want to, eventually, "retire" as CM's at WDW.
I'm also a Lead Mgr. at our local Disney Store (we are one of the old "pink & green" stores with lots of Hidden Mickey's, BTW), but that's actually kinda' bittersweet...I'm immersed in Disney the whole time I'm there, but it's not quite WDW or DLR.
Sights, sounds and smells ALL day long. :)

Listening to WDW music in the Disney mobile... that is what I call my vehicle. WDW license plates, antenna topper, Family wearing ears on the back window. Yeah.... it's Disney or bust for me! :)

I love that video! I especially like the end w/ Walt himself talking about "joy and inspiration for all the world!". It brings tears to my eyes thinking about all of the devastation from this Superstorm Sandy! Disney: I applaud you for offering assistance to the needs of New Yorkers and New Jersey residents. These folks need our prayers and some source of "joy".
Anyhow, I miss everything about Disney! The sights, the smells, the sounds... everything! I can't wait to return. I'm sad we won't be going in 2013, but looking forward to a trip in 2014.

I think most of it is the fact that the World is the only place we can go where we REALLY forget about life for a while. The real world is tuned out while we are in THE WORLD! Nowhere else on this planet can we show up, spend a week and lose track of everything else.

We will be there in Dec as well!!
