What kind of shape is Art of Animation in?

I'll try to keep this brief. My daughter is absolutely obsessed with Cars and we were considering taking her to Disneyland for the first time to see Cars Land, but she'll likely be right on the line of 40" for the week we're targeting and we'd hate to go all that way and spend all that money specifically for Cars if she might not be able to ride Radiator Springs Racers. So, we've settled on a Cars suite at Art of Animation at Walt Disney World as a kind of compromise.

We stayed at Art of Animation when it first opened and we were locals and we loved it, but we haven't been back since. My main question is: In what kind of condition are the guest rooms and common areas? We'd hate to stay there if it's going to be beat to hell. In five trips since we've moved north from Florida, we've taken our daughter to Animal Kingdom Lodge (twice), Fort Wilderness cabins, Saratoga Springs, and Old Key West. I'm not a "deluxe snob" by any stretch and I know what we'll be getting in terms of dining, buses, mattresses, etc. I just don't want to see actual damage or other major maintenance issues.

@CaptainAmerica We stayed at AoA in a Cars Suite in March, as part of a split stay coming from the Polynesian (in a studio villa). We loved it! My son (3.5) is obsessed with Cars as well and talks about going back to “Radiator Springs” all the time! I’ve also stayed at other deluxe and moderate resorts for the majority of my trips to WDW and thought the condition of AoA was really good during our trip. I’m going to try to add some of my photos below.

They only have one "real" bed, plus a Murphy bed and a pull-out sofa. The only pull-out sofa at WDW that I've ever had a problem with are the ones currently at Old Key West, but they're due to be replaced.
Ooohh - gotcha. I was thinking there was a quality difference between the real beds at the different resorts. I was anticipating that the murphy bed may be a bit...different.

I guess it depends on each individual room. We stayed in a Cars suite for one night last Dec. It was really showing wear.
The back cushion on the blue and white couch was really broken down. It sagged a lot in the middle and would not fluff back up. The carpets were worn. The table was scratched up. We were really disappointed.

Stayed in a Nemo Suite end of July/beginning of August... I thought the resort looked fantastic. The room we were in looked brand new (no readily visible signs of wear).
