I love collecting Disney art and i got Larry Dotsons Pictures of the 4 Park Icons and Old Key West in August :sohappy:

What are your fave pieces of Disney art??

Well, I do my own. I try to do something before each trip to get me excited. The Parks and the Art of Disney stores really inspire me. I have a series of Villains that I did last year.

I also did Ursula and Cruella Deville. They have the same set up and same background color. And one year I did a Totoro scene from the movie, "My Neighbor Totoro". This year I am doing a Water Color of the Stretching Portraits room. It's a work in progress. It gets me in a Disney mood like nothing else.

I am pretty fond of the mural of all the disney characters in what used to be the "Walt Disney Story" on Main Street.

I just picked up a framed giclee on canvas of the 2010 food and wine official picture. It should be arriving in about a week.

I really like Tim Rogerson's work. He is there on the weekends, and I spent some time talking with him. He has a very interesting story (at least to me) on how he became the official Food and Wine artist.

He also did a quick sketch for me of a F&W type chef on the back of the framed work and signed that too.

My ex-fiancee hand drew me a picture of Stitch. Even though he and I are no longer together, I still have it framed on my wall as he was the first person to ever draw me a picture. I love it.

I had never heard of Larry Dotson until I read this post...thank you for sharing his name and great idea for the thread! I think I have now discovered what I will be asking for on every birthday and holiday...some of his paintings are really fantastic.
