What is your favorite Disney Experience?????

We where at the haunted mansion one night at closing. When the lights went out in the stretching room the cast member was laying on the floor. Of course we where the only one in the stretching room. We had a blast. My party was the last group allowed to ride. We were the only people on the dum buggies. THe cast member made our experience very memorable.:king:

Mine always has to be walking down Main Street and smelling the popcorn and seeing the castle at the end. I really do feel like I'm able to leave all my troubles outside and just enjoy the happiest place on earth.

Walking into your hotel lobby and knowing that your vacation has begun and you have the entire experience ahead of you. This is my favorite part of any trip. Specifically at WDW, maybe walking into MK and getting that first postcard view of the castle and hearing our little girl's reaction to it all. We are going to WDW next month and it will be her third trip (she will only be 29 months old!) so the experience is always a lot different each time seeing it through her eyes as she gets older.

I know it's not WDW property, but I'd say landing at MCO. When we landed last year (our first trip), it was a beautiful, sunny day, and we could see the palm trees on our approach. After such a wonderful first trip to the world, I'll always remember that landing at MCO, bringing me to my
"happy place!":D

It's nothing major, but on occasion when we're exiting a ride (this happened both at Space Mtn and RnRC), the cast members at the disembark point will stop us and tell us to go through a certain door and when we do, we get another ride right at the car-loading point. That's always cool when that happens.

Watching my daughter and son (20 years ago) hand in hand with Mickey and Minnie walk down Hollywood Boulevard upon opening the park. (They had been selected ahead of time to 'open the park'. Husband caught it all on video and its a treasure!!!

:sohappy:the one thing my family remembers most and still talk about often happened during emh at the mk. there was only like 10 minutes left before closing we wanted to ride potc 1 last time. we actually ran from sm all the way to adventureland. when we got there we thought they had already closed because there was no one there but us . well the que lines gates were open once again no one around until we got to the boats and 1 cm was there, she put us on the boat and went through very eerie ride alone.when we started heading the park exit it was even more eerie because of the silence in the park and the darkness but very cool. just one of many memories but a special time.next trip may 27- june 4 staying at the beach club cant wait.:sohappy:

Funny you say this because I was going to post the same thing...

I love landing at MCO and thats where I get my first Disney feeling for some odd reason. In fact my husband teases me about the tram ride to pick up our luggage as our first ride at Disneyworld.

I know it's not WDW property, but I'd say landing at MCO. When we landed last year (our first trip), it was a beautiful, sunny day, and we could see the palm trees on our approach. After such a wonderful first trip to the world, I'll always remember that landing at MCO, bringing me to my

I have two. One very simple, one huge...but both were magical.

On the last night of our first trip with our kids, we let my son pick our last ride. He chose POTC. Right as we were about to board our boat, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee appeared and got on our boat with us. This would have been fun not matter what, but it was extra special because Mr. Smee was my son's favortite character. Before going to WDW, I asked him which character he was most excited about meeting....and he said Mr. Smee.

The big one was being the family of the day at the MK that helps Mickey open the park. Words can't describe how awesome that was.

We did the Liberty Belle riverboat ride once and we were just about the only ones on the boat. (except for castmembers of course)

When we got to the upper deck for a better view, there stood Mickey Mouse.

We got to do the whole boat ride with Mickey Mouse all to ourselves.

One of my favorite recent experiences was June 08, when I finally was able to bring my 3 yr old(2 1/2 at the time) to my favorite place in the world. I have been many times, but it was her first. I have her with an EX and only see her the customary weekends, etc... Seeing her face on the first day when all of the characters she has only known on TV came to life for her. Was priceless...:) Also, the fact that she wanted to ride and see every attraction without fear.."More rides, daddy" is all she said every day there...

Have to put this in there too...On our way out of the MK, we saw some characters(pluto, chip and dale) outside the train, before the gates. The lines were so long to greet and she was getting tired and was about to nap..We told her that we would find pluto when we came back that night. She fell asleep on the way to the car, and when we transfered her into her car seat, she started to cry. She let out a big yell "I wanted to see Pluto"...I was touched and let out a big "AWW"..and assured her we would see him later..and we did....one of my fave moments...:)
