What is WRONG with people????

This is one of my biggest pet peeves! I don't even like going to the movies anymore because, unfortunately, I am not one of those people who can "tune it out". It literally makes my blood boil and will ruin the whole experience for me.

For instance, our first night watching Wishes on this trip, there was a guy standing behind us filming the show, and the ENTIRE time, he had the light on on his camcorder (why? I have no idea). But this wasn't just a light, it was a freakin' 5000 watt spotlight that lit up an entire area in front of him for at least 20'. Everybody was turning around, looking at him, but he never got the message. It was as bad as standing under a streetlight. I couldn't just ignore it, and I couldn't enjoy the show at all.

Or, on a prior trip, our very last ride before leaving was Pirates. The boat in front of us was full of "people from another country" LOL that obviously paid no mind whatsoever to the "no flash photography" rule. Either they didn't realize it, or they were intentionally being as obnoxious as possible about it, because EVERY one of them was CONSTANTLY taking flash photos. It was like a paparazzi event at a movie premiere. Totally ruined it for me. I wanted to smack every one of them.

So yeah, I have no idea why people are so completely selfish and inconsiderate. I wish I could block it out.

Holy crap, that same thing happened to me last week with a guy and a camera with a bright light on it during Wishes, when was that? It may have been the same guy. It was so annoying. Yes, I'm sure your little light is going to illuminate Cinderella's castle.

This has baffled me forever. I just can't understand this behavior. The last time I was in MK I had the misfortune to be hostage to this situation. I was behind a guy and girl in the queue for BTM. The guy would not stop talking incessantly. The girl just kept say uh huh because that's all she COULD do. We get on the train and they are in the seat in front of me. I kid you not, he talked throughout the ENTIRE ride. And not about the ride but about work, gossip, what happened last week, random things that popped into his mind, etc. Everyone else was screaming, raising their hands and enjoying the ride. Except me and probably the poor girl. I could not wait to get off and run!

And that's what I did. I literally started running down the exit queue as I could hear him still talking without taking a breath behind me.

So I run/walk over to Splash Mountain. It's minutes before closing so I pretty much walk on. I hear his voice again. And no I'm not imagining it. They are just just behind me as I'm getting in the front seat. Where do they sit? Directly behind me. And as we begin the ride, his mouth begins talking again.

So I suffer through another attraction with this jerk ruining it. He is talking about everything but Disney and the experience of enjoying the attraction. I groaned throughout most of the ride.

So the ride ends and the CM asks ME, not them, if I'd like to ride again. Maybe they could hear him throughout the ride or maybe they saw my pained expression? I said yes I'll stay on. Then I hear the twit behind me asking his friend if they should stay on. I was ready to jump so fast out of that log and run if they did stay on.

Luckily the girl said no. Maybe she heard the sound of my palm slapping my forehead? In the end I got a solo ride in the front seat.

PS This ride was the first time I ever noticed the jumping fountains in the turtle scene. I don't know if they were turned on for my ride or if I just never noticed them before. This was last May before the refurb. I'd like to think it was the CM creating a magical moment for having endured the non stop talking, annoying guest.

How do you even have a conversation on BTM? Let alone with yourself?

So I'm watching the Star Wars Symphony in the Stars video on WDW Magic...and I'm wondering, "Why the heck can't the people in that crowd shut up for one minute???" The show is starting, Yoda's talking, and all I can hear on the video is yap yap yap yap jabber jabber blah blah blah from the crowd. I notice that a lot at WDW - that during ANY event or show or attraction, there are always some people who can't keep their mouths closed for one second! It's like "Screw the people around me, who cares if they can't hear, I got something to say, and I got to say it NOW!" If such people are so in love with the sounds of their own voices that they can't be silent for ANY reason, why don't they just stay home and talk to themselves and spare the rest of us the sound of their big fat mouths????

End of rant.

Totally agree, drives me mad.

This has always bothered me. I just don't get why people can't follow simple rules. Wepay good money to have a good time, but there is always that one ahole that has to do something. The my kids are more important than yours attitude kills me. We wait to see parades and fireworks, only to have someone just walk in front and take claim, not well for me, as I will open my mouth and say hey! I will be polite until it comes time to not be polite. We always do as wdw cm's want us to, even if it means we get a crappy end seat for a show, but I can still see it! No views are that bad. People should learn how to be considerate of others again. A lost tradition in todays society.

We need time for things to happen.

The real victim in this story is the girl. Imagine??? You could walk\run away, she was stuck with this dolt throughout the park and beyond....

It doesn't bother me too much, but in shows- I just don't get it? The cell phones? It's nuts! The talking loud thing is just ridiculous! I always whisper in my hubby's ear- ooh sweet nuthin's.;)

The person in front of me held up an iPad to record CTM. I stepped in front of him.

This was a major deal in the World Of Luv. Not usually such a rebel badass. But I hadn't seen CTM and wanted to see it clearly. I stepped out when it was over.

I love my iPad and use it all the time. But those screens are just too big and bright for recording at night.

Yes folks are rude at times. I especially hate it when people are on their cell phones just blabbing away loudly. Don't they realize how loud and annoying it is to others around. argggggg
Doesn't matter where you are or how many times people are told to turn the danged things off during a performance. You inevitably have someones phone ring tone go off in the middle of the performance or someone just has to share their personal conversation with everyone within 50 yards of them. I wish there was some kind of jamming device installed in every arena, that would render the things disabled. You can't even get through a Mass, a wake or a funeral even, people need to show some respect, but theres too little respect taught anymore.
