What is WDW like in November???

My husband and I are going to WDW Labor Day weekend, but we're also thinking about a long weekend in November for my birthday (it's Monday, Nov. 16th).

I've heard the week of Thanksgiving is REALLY crowded, but what are the first two weeks of November like? Are the decorations and events Thanksgiving-themed, or are they Christmas-themed? (I'm hoping for Christmas, but guessing it's Thanksgiving).

Are there any special events or dining at any of the parks? Any vacation package deals for that time period?

We don't know anyone that's been there in November before - Please Help!!! Any descriptions/advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

We went second week of November last year, and it was BLISS.

Parks were not crowded at all, I think 20 minutes was our longest wait.

Weather was great, but cool! Need sweaters and long pants for nighttime, at least we did. It was so pleasant, though. Too cool for waterparks.

At that time we also had Disney Visa free dining, which we really used well.
Don't know if that's going to be around at that time.

Really, we just went and enjoyed. I'd say it's a great time to be at the parks. The last day we were there, was the first day of Thanksgiving week, and we REALLY noticed the uptick in crowds--we were spoiled by that time, I think.

As for deals--well, I'm waiting right now to see what will be released for October, which is when we hope to go this year. I'm told it will be 30-60 days until we see deals for October, so add a few weeks to really know what's going on in November, I'd think. Last year, we booked in September and didn't have any issues at all.

Hope that helps!

We went in Novemeber during Jersey week. I would avoid that week if I were you! ha ha. I just checked touringplans.com and they were showing it to be from about the 5th to the 8th. Crowd levels are at 9 when they are usually around 5 or 6.

That week following I have heard nothing but great things about! Asside from the crowds, the weather was great and the Christmas decor is up as well.

Have fun!!
