What is the Boardwalk Resort Like?

It is very nice!! The resort theme is great, and really makes you feel like your at turn of the century Atlantic City. The pool has one of the best slides in WDW, and the dining options are plentiful (the entire boardwalk and the nearby Yacht and Beach Club and Swan and Dolphin)

It also has a lovely quiet pool. Unless you enjoy the slide (and noise) or want refreshments poolside, I would suggest you go there.

...and the location is perfect! I love the "promenade" at nights... soooo nice. Have an ice cream, go to ESPN for sports and a bite, Jellyrolls for a beer and dueling pianos and the Dance club for dancing lessons, or just sit there and relax. All within a walking distance from your room! :sohappy:

I stayed in this resort in the year 2000. I was very pleased with my stay in there. You have so many things, that many will stay undone. The pool is really nicely themed, while the whole boardwalk is simply magical, amazing, no words to describe. You have a variety of restaurants which are so different they seem to be separated by miles. Try Spoodles, the best Pasta I ate at Disney, while the Brewery is a nice place to chat and have some drinks late at night ; the same with the ESPN bar.
The commodity of being some steps away from Epcot's World Showcase is something incredible, plus if you like dining or visiting other Disney resorts, the Yatch & Beach, and Swan and Dolphin are also very very near.
Decorations is really wonderful, too, very elegant and impressive, specially the rooms.

I hope you are satisfied with it.
