I'm wondering what the crowds are usually like the second weekend in December? We plan to be there December 9-12. Any help would be great. We plan on only going to Epcot. Oh and stupid question even with a one day pass we can still exit and enter the park that day right? We were thinking of going to Epcot in the morning and then doing Espn for lunch and going back to Epcot. We usually go for a week and stay on property so this one day stuff is a little new to me. Thanks for any help!

Yes, you can leave and come back as much as you need.

So you're only going to the parks one day? Or are you going all the days but only visiting Epcot?

Hi! We are going to do some other stuff in Orlando during that time, but we picked one Disney park. And they picked Epcot.

Any thoughts on crowds during that time?

We also thought the best day to go to Epcot would be on a Sunday, any thoughts on that?

You picked a great time to go, the crowds are very light that week. The slowest time to go to WDW traditionally is after Thanksgiving weekend and before the kids get out of school for Christmas break.

Sunday is a good day. The only drawback to Sundays at Epcot is that not all of the live entertainment is scheduled to be there on Sunday.

Most importantly, my favorite WS performers ARE there on Sunday, and that's Off Kilter in the Canada pavilion! Don't miss them, especially the last set of the evening.:animwink:

Enjoy the beautiful weather and the light crowds!

The new system actually allows you to save a ton of money if you use it properly. Your friend should be happy, a year ago he would not have been able to purchase a 1 day hopper at all.

The weather can be anything from 80s to 50s. It's best to pack for all kinds of weather, unless you need an excuse to buy a new WDW sweatshirt, lol.

Best to check here before you pack, since December weather varies drastically! http://www.wunderground.com/US/FL/Orlando.html

As for the performers schedules? I don't know why. Don't worry though, there will be plenty of fantastic entertainment. It's just there are a few less on Sunday.
Enjoy!

If you are only going in and out of Epcot, a one day park pass will do for you (Around 70.00 a pop tho...). Add the Park Hopper option....its just over 100.00....I was stunned recently when I paid that (I used up all my other leftover days from previous visits and ran out one day early)

OK...a "one park per day" pass...and you *attempted* to visit two parks on one day...and you wonder why they wouldn't let you in the second park...?? :hammer::hammer::brick::brick:

Can you say "stupidguesttricks.com"...? LOLOLOL

I agree, mod to heavy crowds. We went this exact same time last year, and despite considerable crowds, we loved it b/c of the Xmas theming. It was warm during the days, but windy and cool on some of the evenings.

take a look at this link for some more crowd info:

http://wdw.parkcrowds.com/

although the sample size on that website is questionable for statistical significance. I believe there is a birnbaum's or disney crowd level link somewhere....maybe someone has a better link, i'll look around too
