What is most important at a resort!

post a poll answer I personally think pools because you can take a break from the hustle and bustle and relax in a pool for a while!

You forgot an option on there that is a personally preference of mine, and that is theme. My favorite resorts are my favorite because of their theme, Like AKL, Poly and Wilderness lodge. The theme of these resorts are amazing and so is their ability to wisk you away from reality.

I have to agree with this one. Theme are what the whole park is about

1st most Important is the Themeing
2nd is the location to the parks
3rd is the types of transportation to different locations
4th is the $$$$

For me, my first visit since 1976, the most important thing is staying at a hotel that has the monorail going through it ... the Contemporary.

Theme, sure, and also rates. It's just an important factor as everything else. I mean, I don't choose a hotel by the pools, food court or nice rooms. I wanna know what's the theme, and how much is it! :lol:

I agree with most people in saying that theme is a big thing when choosing a hotel.
Then proxiemty to the parks is the next best thing.

I like the Polynesian becasue of the theme and proxiemty to the parks.

Atmosphere is very important to a resort. As long as theres a bed and bath in the room I would stay anywere. I go to the Disney resorts because of the increadable themeing one can find there.

Hotel rooms are basically hotel rooms. As long as you have a place to sleep with clean sheets and a clean bathroom, that's all you really need. As far as Disney is concerned, the theming is the thing. Our first resort Disney resort was the Poly and we became spoiled. We have stayed in other places but whenever anyone asks what is you favorite resort, the answer is always the Poly.

Every resort is so great, you need to go with the theme(s) you like best.
