I'm confused as to what type of ride this is? Is it like a RollerCoaster? Is it like the 'Dinosaur' ride in AK? Is is a motion simulator? Does it go fast? What exactly type of ride is this?

Another M:S thread?! :brick:

j/k

:D

M:S is a centrifuge... it is sorta like a high-tech carousel...

it's not a simulator because you really do move and the rate of how fast the centrifuge spins creates different G force effects on how the ride feels to a Guest...

Many of the other million M:S threads can answer any other questions you have... :D

Well, its kind of a merry go round on steroids....10 Small pods are attached to a big wheel that spins around, and creates different effects to the body with a little bit of simulator into the mix..

thats all im saying, I'll have someone explain it to you in more detail, it seems like this has been discussed 900000000000000 times...just do a forum search:)

If you wanna know everything about the ride, and how tolerant one has to be, search the forums for "MKT'S Mission Space report"...I beleive its up to 14 pages now, and everyones questions were fullfilled there

Mission: Space Video

Hey everyone, I have put together a composite Mission: Space video that includes the two pre-flight videos and the actually in-ride video, if anyone wants it (and, look at this, you don't have to pay a subscription fee to see it!)

If anyone has any ideas on how to post this video or put it up on a server, let me know, because i know it's something that a lot of people would lovbe to get their hands on...

The video also has a short section that shows what the ride is like and how it works, for those interested.

For now, tho, anyone can contact me on AIM: MakeLove2MeSexy

I'll send anyone the video who wants it.

Hi Liter put the videos online... thanks to Qubefactor.com

they're at http://www.qubefactor.com/~wdwmedia/missionspace/missionspace.htm

please keep the downloads to a minimum though... IRC is still the preferred method, and the webmaster of Qubefactor has already informed the members of the team, as well as myself, that if bandwidth starts to get excessive, he'll shut it down.
