does anyone know what other than walt's apartment and the restaurant is inside the castle? I've always wished there was some sort of walk thru, and I always wondered if there were rooms behind the windows that light up at night...any info ????

Security rooms, Tinkerbells launch platform, transmission systems (lots of - including the RF transmission for the parades, or at least it used to be unless they have now gone totally on board) but remember, there is not a lot of room above King Stefans - the forced perspective makes it appear there is a lot more room than there is!

There's a "Cast Members only" elevator for show performers (Cinderellabration, Surprise Celebration, etc). that leads to a somewhat cramped dressing room. Prior to that, shortly after the park first opened, that space was used for a phone switchboard.

I don't know about with the WDW castle but i remember there was something in the Disneyland castle which was like a walk through attraction with various scenes from movies.

Well in addition to the nuclear missles are the detachment areas for the spires so they can be taken down before hurricanes ; )

Cinderella's Royal Table...not King Stephan's. (If he is refering to Cinderella Castle, which I believe he is)

It used to be called King Stephan's, they changed the name.
(which is probably good... because its Cinderella's castle, not sleeping beauty's lol)

Ya. The Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough closed after 9/11 because there was rumor that Sleeping Beauty Castle was placed high on the terrorist's list. *shudder* I think you can still see some of the pieces on DL's Main Street in the windows of some shops.

Missles? Really? I thought you were kidding...maybe you are and I'm just thinking your not...now. Are there "really" missles in/on the castle? With my Self-Guided tour of the outside of the Castle that I gave myself in Feb (at night...it was sooo cool) I saw no evidense of missles...not even in the towers (small ones...parts of the base). Clear this up for me please :D

Behind the windows

Ok, we know that on the "second floor" we have Cinderella's Royal Table, food prep areas, a small cast breakrrom and cast restrooms. What's above from there? Another breakroom (soon to be an office), and a stairwell. That's it. The lit window you see from the front of the castle is nothing but a light-box that sits on one of the landings of the starwell. There are a several doors as you go up. Several exit outside to some of the small walkways around the spires. A couple more open onto small unused spaces. And the few other half-sized openings? They contain the lighted windows and such.
There are also several elevators within the castle. Hope this satisfies your curiosity (and doesn't kill too much magic).

Oh! And Walt's head. That's under the castle.
