What is "casual temporary"?

hi all, I am currently a seasonal employee (or so i thought) i noticed my status is "CT" which with a little research i found to mean Casual temporary, or so i think. What is the difference between that, and being seasonal? is it the same thing?

Don't know how it works in WDW, but at the Disney store we called Seasonal people "casuals"

Yes, they are the same thing. In the spectrum of statuses (for CA anyways..) there are:

CT: Casual Temporary, only required to work during peak periods (summer, holidays)
CR: Casual Regular, only required to be available from Friday nights through Sundays, plus peak periods
Alt-CR: Alternative CR, only required to work two days of each week.
CR-25: Only required to be available and work 25 hours per week. (if any department even has this any more...)
FT: Full Time, required to be available at least 5 days of the week, and work 32 hours minimum per week.

ok well i found my managers email after i created this thread and she told me that there are shifts available.

There are hardly any hours to give. When I was last working, full timers were getting 30 or less, and part timers were getting 0.
