We are taking our 7 year old DS and our now 6 month old to Disney in a little over five weeks. We have reservations on Thursday night at Cali Grill @ 730.

I have been doing lots of reading and wonder if this is a good idea. The 7 yr old is no problem at all and has been raised in restaurants. The younger one is well behaved but it is certainly hard to judge how he will act. Any help, I will be grateful for!!

It's a bit less noisy w/o too many children. A little more upscale than most, but it's WDW. You shouldn't have any problem!Enjoy! Eat slowly and stay to see the fireworks!:D

Our girls were 2 and just turned 5 when they first went to Cali Grill and like most WDW spots- it felt very kid friendly. While it's not character dining noisy in there, it also wasn't romantic quiet- so it really never worried me too much. We did fine dining (locally) with our girls when they were infants and all was fine with that as well. Much of it was just making sure we were well prepared to keep them preoccupied. i.e some quiet toys they like but hadn't seen in a while, etc.

Don't worry about it. If your baby gets loud and fussy, just take your child outside to the observation deck for a while which will most likely calm him/her down. I wouldn't sit there and let the baby cry for a long time as it would be somewhat rude to other patrons. Have a great time!

Just relax and enjoy your dinner there. i have seen it all there!! If there is a specific dress code, from what ive witnessed, the enforcement is light at best. Its not overly quiet as it can get quite crowded. so dont worry. bring the kids and enjoy!!! Its one of my favorite places to eat.
