Not to sound stupid or anything, but what in the world is a Podcast? I have seen that word thrown around a bit here and just wanted to be in the know!

A podcast is a pre-recorded audio file that is essentially a little radio show. It is typically updated, daily, weekly, or monthly. They're called podcasts (a play on "broadcasts") because most folks listen to them on their iPods, but you can hear them on any audio player, or even just on your computer. Podcasts also have the handy feature of, if you have iTunes software, you can have the program automatically download every time it updates. Hope this helps!

..And if you are here..

..And if you are here and you love WDW, please check out our little podcast right there on your computer!

www.beourguestpodcast.com

If you click on that, you will get to hear our little "radio-type" show that is all about Walt Disney World. We even talk about WDWMagic.com on there, as all three members of the show are from this forum! :)

Enjoy!

:)

All podcasts through iTunes are free. You can "subscribe" and the new shows will automatically download to your computer each time you open iTunes. Once you subscribe to the shows that you like, just open iTunes once each day, and you will be set. You can listen to them right there on your computer through iTunes, or put them on your iPod! :)

Please check ours out. I think you would like it! :)

They're not just audio. There are tons of video podcasts available, including a whole lot of Disney related ones. Just go to iTunes and do a search on Disney.

in a nut shell, its basically either audio/visual or both. it is on itunes and you download them your ipod. you dont need an ipod to view/hear them, you need the itunes softwhere. also most of them are free, and there are tons of disney ones, including an offical disney world one. the only thing is, some are never updated, or if they are it can be once a week, to once a year exc. i suggest getting some just for the disney stuff. but there are so many topics, it would be impossible to list them all

True... I just automatically think of audio when I think podcast. Guess that comes from working in radio.
