Disney's music. For a simple "fun park ride", Spaceship Earth's 1994 incarnation had one of the most beautiful scores I've ever heard, better than most film scores. Area loops barely heard, packed full of little subtle nuances and nods to other music. Rather than a few cheap fireworks going off, IllumiNations, Wishes and Fantasmic are super-choreographed, high-budget masterpieces with music so intoxicatingly magical it makes grown men cry. This sets Disney far apart from the likes of Six Flags or its ilk.

Gotta agree with those that are talking about the attention to detail. It's amazing how much they think about the rides and parks. Everytime I go back I notice knew things and I am like "honestly, what person would think to have this here." It is amazing

I am also very impressed with their maintainance when it comes to all of their gardens. They have so many flowers and bushes and trees that need a large amound of care. I rarely see any people taking care of them yet they are always beautiful.

I was impressed with how the Disney Chefs bent over backwards to help us with our Son's food allergies. At the time we went last October, our 2 year old son had over 20 food allergies (including milk, eggs, beef, and wheat). We got a contact at WDW and for all meals, they had an allergy safe meal ready for him. My son got to eat like a king for once and did not get sick once (he can pretty much die is he ingests milk, even if it is baked in foods). This meant the world to my wife and I.

After the parks, this carried forward to the 4 day cruise we were on. Not only did he get great meals, but he got gourmet desserts prepared by the head chef. Every meal, this chef came to our table to see how he liked his dessert and before we went home, he gave us a book containing all the recipes.

The whole experience was magical, but to see how much my son enjoyed eating something besides the ordinary chicken and veggies was priceless.

I agree about the food allergy policy. Disney is really the only place where they are that accommodating.

I love me some sweet, "crime free", Disney World. I feel safer there than the mall, the pool, my front yard or church. It's nice to have that little be of extra security there and feeling of safety. I love being able to let the kids go more than 20 paces away from us at the resorts without having my EAGLE EYES on. Now at the parks/DTD, I'm locked and targeted. But it's nice to relax just a little at the resorts. Especially if you aren't at the Deluxe Resorts. I feel much more safe at the moderates and value resorts because there isn't a fraction of the "through" traffic. Without high demand eateries or theme that encourages visits to non guests, they are a bliss to be at with the family. Sure some guests are a bit roudy, but almost EVERY PERSON THERE belongs. Hardly any "visitors" come to check out the All Star Sports and grab a meal.

I'm always impressed how it's (usually) so clean. And the BGMs (isn't it weird when it's quiet and you can actually hear the music?).

I'm impressed with Disney's transportation system.:sohappy:

When I was in WDW last month, One day I left from the Polynesian Resort, hopped on the monorail, rode it to The Ticket and Transportation Center, got off and then took the Ferry to The Magic Kingdom, spent half a day there, then took the monorail back to the Polynesian, took an hour nap, took the monorail to the TTC, got back on another monorail and went to EPCOT, walked around EPCOT for an hour, went out through the International Gateway, then took a Friendship to Disney's Hollywood Studios, rode Tower of Terror and RocknRollercoaster Starring Aerosmith, then took a bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge just to visit the gift shop, then took a short bus trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom to visit my favorite attraction...those beautiful Blue, Green, and Red Birds. Then I took a bus back to the Polynesian Resort, took a shower and ate, then went back out to enjoy evening Extra Magical Hours at The Magic Kingdom. Then afterwards I rode the small boat back to the Polynesian Resort.

And to think...all this transportation was free of charge and included in the price of admission!
It's amazing!:)

How clean it is....
And also, the framing of certain views. For example, how you walk through the train station at MK and suddenly the whole of main street just jumps at you at once, along with the smells. To me, that was well framed.
Or how the Tree of Life suddenly appears to you as you top that bridge coming from the Oasis.
