I booked my trip thru Disney. That makes them my travel agent. I am flying thru Philidelphia this Satureday(the worst airport I've ever been in and I have been to quite a few). I see we are supposed get another storm. So if I get stuck in Philly what do I do? Contact my travel agent?

It would really PMO if I loose days at the world.

I am pretty sure you will be able reschedule if you have to. BTW I used to live in Philly and I agree 100% with you on that terrible airport. I am happily in Phoenix now and am very glad to have Sky Harbor and not have to deal with PIA anymore.

Philadelphia is pretty terrible...but it has gotten a lot better in recent years. MCO is pretty terrible too, but not nearly as bad as Philly  Both were brutal coming home to Phila. from WDW last Monday.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't lose a day at WDW!

i just hope you took trip insurance. that is exactly what it is for. re-book yourself, and be PROACTIVE, don't assume the airline has your best interest at heart....ha ha ha ha ha. you are the only one working to get you out of there as fast as possible. bring your laptop/iPhone, get on the sites yourself and re-book. then when you get home, submit your losses to the insurance company. i've had to it and with snow it was as easy as pie. they will pay for a hotel for you for the night also if you can't get a flight till the next day.
but, usually all the local hotels are booked during a storm, so, don't count on getting one.
good luck.
ps- i'm from philly, your assessment is correct :)

Question: Did you book the flights through Disney, too?

i agree with trotsky, i also have an AP, so never get packages or disney insurance. i actually go through an independent broker each time. just do a google search for trip insurance, there are a plethora of sites out there with reliable companies offering trip insurance that covers everything from just flight expenses, to hotels, luggage, medical emergencies, you choose the plan you want, book it online.

My girlfriend is flying out of Philly the day we leave on Feb. 11th. I live down in wonderful Texas so I will be flying out of here to meet here at the Orlando airport. We both thought about the same thing but it should be alright, like they have said Philly has gotten much better in recent years. However, my girlfriend is well aware if her flight get cancelled or delayed for some reason she will be meeting me at our resort....most likely the bar, I hate waiting at airports.

I purchased the trip insurance. But who do I contact if something goes wrong. Sorry, I'm pretty stupid about things like this.
