My heart is breaking for the people of Los Angeles right now. This is just awful. I’m praying for all those impacted by the fires.

I’m so sorry, everyone.

I just don’t have it in me right now to keep this going. I’m feeling extremely bitter and joyless and I’m not sure how long that is going to last. But it’s certainly having an impact on my ability to be present and give you all the attention and support you deserve as players.

As of now, I am permanently stepping down from hosting competitions. I’m not abandoning our community entirely, I am just not in the proper headspace at the moment to act in a leadership capacity.

I am very grateful for everyone who participated up to this point. And I am extremely sorry for not being able to follow through on getting this to its conclusion.

What if…

We grant that Team Phoenix won the team portion (I think my team would be willing to grant that)?
And what if those who wanted to could do a final project on a What-if style prompt with someone else stepping in as judge? I’m not beholden to this, but just wanted to get the idea out on the table.

I guess I could be judge… but again, it’ll have to be Universal-based, not Disney.
