What I Miss

Is that beautiful Boardwalk hotel. It was in a great location, had great shops, great clubs, and great places to get food! I still remember the first night being there and just the peaceful serene atmosphere. My mother said she, for the first time felt safe, like she wasn't going to get mugged. Too bad the financial resources aren't there so we can go back. So tell me, what did you guys love about the hotels you've stayed at?

Two words: The view!!!

We stayed at GF and had an MK view off our two private balconies! It was so magical and relaxing to just sit on the porch and watch the castle change colors and see the fireworks and watch the boats go by and....well, you get the idea.

Walking through the landscaping at the Polynesian in the morning as we head for coffee and danish and then getting on the monorail for the Magic Kingdom or Epcot.

Stormalong Bay.

Those beautiful DVC condos -- any one of 'em.

I miss the time my wife and I had walking along...anywhere. It was like we were dating again. We stayed at POFQ. She lived in New Orleans when we dated, so the theming really brought back memories for us both.

I miss Disney-MGM Studios. It was our favorite park.

I miss Epcot. The scenery great with all the different "countries".

I miss MK. Seeing Cinderella's Castle when you emerge onto Main Street is breathtaking.

I miss AK, but not as much. Our day there was rain-filled. Maybe we can go back and spend a nice, sunny day there one day.

I just miss it all. I fell in love with it all over again because it was the first trip there for my wife and I together. It helped to erase bad memories there with an ex-girlfriend. They're all but gone.

Last time we stayed at the Yacht Club. Typical Disney, same room different sheets but, what a great location. Right next to EPCOT, plenty of restaurants to choose from and you didn't get that sense of urgency that comes with the "I only got two days!" type of crowd. Very relaxing, very nice.

If you had wings
world of motion & the robot and bird show
horizons
20,000 leagues
skyway
The older monorails with a million doors that would all open at the same time with that crack sound, and then everyone running out at the same time and down the ramp.
