I heard they start feeding non-resort guests to the Lions at AK when they near maximum capacity.

When they do that are Resort Guests allowed to be witness to the special event? And what happens if the lions are full?

A cast member told me that Disney tries very hard to let AP holders in on a priority basis, and often they will close the park to guests coming through the parking lot without an AP if they are estimating a high number of AP and resort guests. They closed Epcot on New Year's Eve 1999 very early in the morning, and the parking lot was empty....

I did not arrive at Epcot until after 8 p.m. NYE 1999 and the parking lot was empty. I showed them my PAP and they put a card on my car and waived me in. I have never seen a park that corwded ever. I have been to the parks many times when the signs have said full but have always gotten in. I have parked at Epcot before when the MK parking lot was closed and just took the monorial over and got right in.

how often do they close the parks because there full?
and if mk is full has anyone been inside?
is every ride an hour wait?

An hour would be an amazingly short wait on those days.

I was thinking. For every 1k guests at the parks, how mnay staff do they need to have in case there is an emergency ?
Maybe sometimes they show as full not because they reached capacity but because they didn't expect a surge and are not at full staff ?
Anyone know whether this is true?

Funny,I've never heard of any parks having a certain capacity. That's just weird. I mean, what if you've come a long way from a far country to go to the parks and then you get there and they're closed? I'd be absolutely furious with Disney.
