Doug went away several months ago, after 2 weeks notice was given to the public. There are no official plans for the theatre space as of yet.

The show was a cross marketing ploy to promote the release of the movie first in theatres and later for the DVD/VHS release. I don't think Disney ever planned on having it be a permanent thing. If you remember, the theatre was rather barren for that kind of a show... It is my understanding that that area will be converted into the "museum" of Disney stuff for the 100 year celebration.

Disney moved Doug TV show to Disney channel the same time Doug is on Nick and I don't think Nick bought back doug. Ithink Jim Jinkins owns him.

There are no plans for the use of the theatre yet. The "Disney Museum" that was referred to is going to be housed in the Lights! Camera! Action! theatre on Mickey Avenue, and the official name for the attraction is "Walt Disney: One Man's Dream, From Mickey Mouse to the Magic Kingdom".

Most recently, Lights! Camera! Action! was used as (here's a shocker) a character greeting area for Buzz Lightyear and friends. Then it was home to Mickey Mouse for a short time, before they moved him down the street towards Backlot Tour.

He did but soon after the success of the show the show's creator sold the rights to the character and the show to Disney to be put on the original One Saturday Morning on ABC. The show has just recently ended.

no.. not Buzz. The ABC SOUNDSTAGE is currently a character greet, but there is work presently going on for a enw show. Doug was cancelled w/ 2 weeks notice. Not enough notice to put in a new attraction.

As for the characters, it's Pinocchio characters, Hook and Smee, Clopin, Belle, Mary Poppins, and Bert.
