if you can't find resturants reservation there are plenty of offsite places, branch out discover the area around 192, every resturant known to man is there. Stop complaining it will get fixed when they want it fixed. There is nothing they can do, the demnad is very high for WDW. Good problem to have if you are WDW.
I have explored the area pretty well. I found this delightful little place not far from Disney that has a plethora of dining options and fun stuff to do. They call it Universal Orlando Resort.

I'm one to book ADRs at 180+10 and FP+ at 60....I create a spreadsheet calendar, set my alarm and go at it when it's time. Even with all that advanced planning, we still have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. You only get 3 FP's any way, the rest of the day/rides needs to be figured out on the fly. My biggest issue is the penalty for canceling an ADR day of....although I understand why. I wish sit-down dining could be a little more flexible from the regard.

I completely disagree. People were making 5 or 6 reservations for dinner, since they weren't sure where they wanted to be, and then just not showing up. Some would make one for each park plus a few resort ones just to be sure. Not fair at all to the rest of us, so I'm glad they added the CC guarantee.

I know that for a select few restaurants that you have to make ADRs at 180 days, but that is only for 5 or so places out of the 150 on property. Most you can get with little to no lead time if you are flexible. No one has to eat at LeCellier every time, since you have better options at Yachtsman and Shula's a short walk away.

I'm going to just start ignoring these kind of "underwhelmed" people when it comes to Disney...but let me rant a little first.

First of all, your rant was barely intelligible, but I did my best to get the gist of you being unimpressed with Fast Pass+ and the new additions.

At a high level, if you're not impressed with Disney, just don't go back. They certainly don't need more people jammed in the parks and especially the disgruntled complainers. I honestly can't completely blame you. They have dropped the ball lately.

That said, your basic premise of hating Fast Pass+ is that you don't want to plan. The reality is, you have to for the most popular rides but you really don't for most of the rides and most of the year. I've been multiple times and changed my times the day before with no problem. TSMM and 7DMT are among the most popular attractions, so it's not a shocker.

Do I wish they held out a few "walk up" fast passes so you could be guaranteed a fast pass if you choose to show up at 8am? Sure, but they are not going to manage 2 systems. I hate the new system too, but it can and does make your experience easier if you plan a little.

Unimpressed with the additions? I can't disagree that Toy Story Land seems to be underwhelming already, but let's give it a chance. Perhaps the TSMM expansion will be better than expected and the "kiddie coaster" may be more fun than Goofy's Sky School. Maybe not. I've argued for years that we haven't seen anything incredible since Everest and even that has no working Yeti today.

Bottom line is, Disney still has tons of classic attractions, shows, and even newer attractions to love. If you're going to let unfinished areas and a new fast pass system ruin it for you, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
I wouldn't say as I don't want to plan, I just believe that they have more problems than benefits. Spent as much time trying to fix problems than actually going around the park. I know that is fixable, but it had less problems before.

I think Disney needs more thrilling rides , 7DMT isnt thrilling , i've rode it a few times . Thats enough for me , i put it on the same level as small world ride ..
So is Avatar land 's thrill ride gonna be a a Star Tours type ride ?

i dont see the problem, we don't have to take our wallets to the park anymore. we have ToT, Star Tours, 7DMT, RnR, EE, Big Thunder, Splash Mountain.. and if you want the more crazy rides you can spend time at Busche Gardens or Universal.

if you combine all the local parks, there is plenty in the area for thrills.

I never been on the Mine Train (will be in a couple weeks). But I don't think anything is worse than getting Small World's song stuck in your head.

I agree Disney needs more thrill rides like Aerosmith and Everest.

At last 7DMT can be a good start for some people who have a fear or aren't fond of roller coasters. But I understand what you mean.
