What Happened to the AP Lounges?

I know that it's been a while, but what has become of the Annual Passholder lounges?

Are all of them deceased?

Are there any similar amenities for AP holders nowadays?

Man I wish they were still around. You could get alcoholic beverages right? I can't remember. Makes me wonder were there any passholder lounges in the MK? I know SM had a lounge, but I thought that was just for RCA/Fedex employees.

That must have been a long time ago  I don't recall anything about them, but that could have been prior to my infatuation with WDW.

From what I recall, I think that each of the 4 theme parks were supposed to have a lounge area for AP guests to sit and relax, and have access to a water cooler (or maybe an Ice Station Cool type of soda dispenser).

The only two that specifically come to mind are the one in The Land, which was on the 3rd floor via the elevator (AP guests were given instructions on how to press two buttons at the same time to access the 3rd floor), and one in Animal Kingdom, adjacent to a restaurant or gift shop. This one was a bit tricky to locate so you had to know exactly where it was in order to find it.

The lounge in The Land was the nicest, but it seemed to be mixed in with other offices and meeting rooms. It was also frequently crowded, whereas the AK lounge was frequently empty.

I don't think that there were any options to purchase beverages, especially alcoholic ones.

Another thread here asks where your favorite place to nap is. Well, these lounges were a nice option for AP guests to at least come out of the heat and relax.
