I don't care what franchises are there, they won't make me go or not go to the parks any more/less...but I just want a darn Dr. Pepper in Disney for once!

The funny thing is...in the Gulf South, Dr. Pepper is actually bottled by Coca-Cola due to a distribution agreement.
However, that agreement only applies to plastic bottles (which is why you will sometimes see Dr. Pepper in the vending machines outside the gates at $3 a pop)....Coca Cola produces its own version (the vastly inferior Mr. Pibb) for its drink fountains.

Dr. Pepper signed a new deal with Coca-Cola in 2010 to include Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper in Coke's Freestyle machines.

Generally, I'm of the opinion that franchises belong in DTD and not the parks. I'll tolerate Starbucks in Epcot, and to a lesser extent DHS, but the one in Magic Kingdom needs to go!

They should have just kept Fountainview Ice Cream parlor and just added Starbucks coffee.

Perhaps. Again, though, don't mind Starbucks in Future World as their home base is Seattle and that city has always kind of had a representation as a "city of the future" sort of, if not always in practice then in media portrayals, particularly during the 80s and 90s, so it kind of fits the theming. A nostalgic view of turn of the century small-town America, however, does NOT include designer gourmet coffee.

Hey! Mr. Pibb (or Pibb Xtra as they call it nowadays) is actually a pretty good substitute for DP. I'd actually be fine with Pibb added to the parks since it is a Coke brand after all.

I'd like to see some of the Coke freestyle machines into club cool. Give me a reason to go in there other than get unsuspecting people to try some Beverly! I'd like to see these in some of the food courts at resorts too. However I think they'd be a nightmare in standard QS locations.
Gotta strongly disagree there. KK has maybe 5-6 varieties whereas DD has a lot more than that. People around here love KK, but I get so sick of the same kinds over and over again.

I'd like to see some Coca-Cola machines in EPCOT that sold the various drinks from around the world found in the machine at the Coke store. Of course they could keep the 16oz Beverly out of the machines.
I think everyone here would disagree. LOL
