My mom "let slip" that when I turn 21, we are going to Disney to celebrate. I've seen both of my folks get what seem like great looking drinks. For future reference, what beers, mixed drinks, wines, etc. do you recommend to have?

Well I'll start you off with some Epcot picks:
- Mexico: Cucumber Margarita, refreshing with a bit of spice around the rim
- Germany: Really hard to go wrong. If you like sweet I would get the grapefruit beer. Otherwise get an Oktoberfest.
- Norway: Carlsberg is a favorite with so many people I know
- Italy: Bellini: Its a sweet mix of peach and wine
- Japan: Sake, because why not?
- France: Grey Goose Slushee
- UK: Beer of course. I recommend Boddingtons because I don't see it on tap very often.
- Canada: Try of the Unibroues

Happy to know you posted this because I too am turning 21 here in a few months and going to Disney, except I'm paying for the whole trip myself -worth it though- ...but congrats on turning 21 and going to Disney to celebrate! Hope you have a great time!

There are so many options! I had my 21st birthday at Disney as well. We drank the world at Epcot. I've gone many times since then and have tried quite a few. If you're looking for Drinks at Epcot try some of these...

Mexico: Avocado Margarita at La Cava del Tequila (much better than it sounds). Don't waste your time with the frozen slushy stuff outside. Go into the building and get something legit. Their menu is wonderful.

Norway: I agree with @acishere go with the Carlsberg

China: I usually get a beer but I tried a melon type drink at the quick service stand that wasn't too bad.

Germany: Get an Oktoberfest and a shot of Jager. I mean come on.. it's your 21st birthday!

Italy: Try the Rose' Regale at Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar.

America: Dude get a Sam Adams or dont even bother.

Japan: Saki of course. I usually get the sweeter pink one. It's on display at the sake bar. You will know it when you see it.

Morocco: HABIBI! it taste like a strawberry colada from dunkin donuts!

France: I love the Grand Marnier slushie. They also have a liquor called NUVO which is pretty good too. Over-priced though.

UK: Plan on staying here awhile. Great atmosphere and the drinks are wicked good. Get a Bumble Bee and a Snakebite. Bumble Bee is Boddingtons & Guiness and a Snakebite is cider and harp.

Canada: I usually go with a Moosehead because at this point I can't handle much else lol

ENJOY! Cheers!

Epcot is wide open and there is way too much to try, well at least in one trip. There are a lot of good beers, wines and cocktails. It is tough to make a list of all of my favorites.

Here are a few of my other favorites around the world:

Jiko in the Animal Kingdom Lodge has a drink called Chocolate Covered Cherry. It is cherry brandy, Amarula (cream liquor), Dark crème de cacao and vodka.

DHS at 50's Prime Time Cafe' try Dad's Electric Lemonade which is Rum, Vodka, blue curacao, sour mix and sprite.

Belle Vue Lounge at the Boardwalk try The Shadow a mix of Chambord (black raspberry flavored liqueur), Godiva chocolate liqueur, Stoli vanilla vodka and heavy cream

Animal Kingdom at the Dawa Bar try the Harambe Cooler it has Starr African rum, dark rum and Pagani Punch which is a tropical juice blend.

Of the various drinks I tried last trip, the backscratcher at the Poly was my fave. Oh - and while I have yet to try them- do the drunken donuts at Territory Lounge at WL count?

I agree the Avocado Margarita is much better than it sounds. It has become my new fav. Last trip we let the kids ride the boat again and then look around just so I had an excuse to enjoy this beverage!

Happy 21st! A cool and refurbished place to try is the Lava Lounge at Rainforest Cafe in DTD. I walked in to check it out but didn't have time to stay and have a drink. Sorry I can't give you any good drink choices as I am a boring drinker lol. I did really enjoy Victoria Falls lounge at AKL. We tried some African wines (Pinotage) and enjoyed the atmosphere as well!

I couldn't agree more with this tip to go into the building and get something legit. I could ignore most of the rest and just keep picking from the Margarita's from inside. My favorites are the Orange, Avocado and cucumber.

Germany, the flight of white wine is excellent and a good way to try out what tastes you like most. Me I love the Liebfraumilch. And then of course the Grey Gooses in France.

At Animal Kingdom on the lonely road from Kilimanjaro to Everest there is a raised kiosk smooshed in along the way (on the left side if you are heading to Everest.) It has the best slushies. I had a margarita that packed a punch and yet you couldn't taste the alcohol. Certainly didn't need 2 of those, lots of bang for the buck and yet refreshing in AK on a warm day.

At the Studio's there is from the bar or restaurant @ PrimeTime Dad's Lemonade. Oh my goodness is this blue drink amazing. At the bar in POR they were able to pull up Dad's Lemonade for me and recreate it for me at the resort. I was in heaven and he got a lovely tip for making my day.
