Hi all. You know those little green/gray/red rectangles by your location on the user thing? Well, I am not really sure what it means when it says that I am an unknown quantity at this point. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

I've always wondered that too, I still haven't figured it out. Also, when you go to the User CP it has a place where people have said comments or praised you, did something neutral, and it has points above it, I've been wanting to know what those meant for the longest time and basically gave up on it since I don't know. I'm always really nice and positive on here, so I don't know if my number means I'm good or bad. haha. I'd love to hear what these mean so that I don't worry anymore.

I posted this in the Tomorrowland Stage Replacement thread and got a red rectangle from someone whodidn't leave a comment. What was bad about what I said? Maybe they just hate the thought of Timekeeper leaving and were heartbroken when the heard there was truly a possiblity of it's demise since a replacement was being toyed with.

Yup, that's where people have rated your posts. The number is a point system. The higher the number, the more positive reputation points you have been given. Whenever someone give you any points (or heaven forbid, takes them away), it will list the last 5 ratings on your main CP page, under your total reputation points.
I'm not sure what the "starting" level is on the boards, but "unknown quantity" means you haven't been recognized for doing anything great, but you haven't been obnoxious, either.
It's kind of a neutral.

Unfortunately there are always a few losers out there who will abuse the system and give you a bad rep just because they disagree.

YAY I have a good reputation. It says I have one star. I guess that's good. I want it to get higher! I guess you learn new things on here everyday. I hope I can figure out what everything else is someday too. :lol:

It may be that nothing has been left for you yet. Mine did not show up right away either, but once I got some points, they were right in the center of the page.
