What do you think the crowd will be like this weekend?

I am sure MK will reach a "PHASE" of capacity at some point this weekend!;) Check out easywdw.com and touringplans.com for crowd calendars!:)

I say Saturday morning would be a good day to hit your favorite park. Some of the crowds that are doing memorial weekend are going to go for the 24 hr event at Mk. That would be the best time to Mk or Epcot..... If you want to go to a park after dark, Mk after the fireworks is the best. Everyone leaves after. Epcot and DHS are not because they have F! (depends on time of year) and Illuminations near closing time. you have a choice really, Rop drop till about 2, or get ready to be sweaty with people you don't know!

I will take the opposite route and say WDW will be fairly empty due to the boycott of Starbucks coming into the park. Organized protests will keep the masses away until Nescafe is back and flowing like oil or tar, which it more closely resembles anyways.
Haha! Good point! Upsetting the Main Street Bakery won't be open :(

Oh okay! Thank you! I also think Star Wars Weekend at Hollywood Studios is this weekend if I'm not mistaken, so hopefully that'll alleviate the crowd from MK!

I would not count on it, with New Fantasyland, MK will still be busy. When we went the last week of February, MK was packed around NF, now the rest of the park was not bad at all, the crowd calendars gave it a 4, but in that new area, I would say it was 8, a CM told me that it has been like that since the new part opened. We did not get to do anything in the new part, we were not willing to spend that much time on waiting.

Trust me you are not alone. One thing about going to WDW is that when you add in factors of heat, crowds, and long lines at attractions - this pushes my adrenaline. I am heading out Friday as soon as I get off work (bag will be in the car so I can hit 75). I am out, lol.

Agreed !I actually LIKE going during Christmas week !

I was there today and it was pretty busy, but yet have a time to go to MK when it isn't. Since Easter has ended i've found lulls in all the other parks but MK is consistently busy. Weekends have tended to be a mad house as a rule. I'm not touching that park with a ten foot pole until Memorial day is over but I also have annual passes and go alot. I think it's all in the state of mind. Expect it to be crazy crazy crazy, and if it's anything less you'll be pleasantly surprised!!!

I don't know why they would pick an already busy weekend to do a promo like that.
To counter the opening of Antarctica at Seaworld.

Here is my 2 cents, via my obsession with the touringplans app:

It says the MK is the park to avoid today (no surprise) and has the crowd level listed at 10 out of 10.
