Love the 4-park Mickey Quest!! What a great idea! I've done all 4 parks in one day, but not with a connecting thread...impressive! You guys still look good at the end of your long day, though, in your photo in front of the beautiful Spaceship Earth. Most excellent place to end your day. ;)

Anxiously awaiting the next day from your point of view!

Thanks! I knew you would like that Epcot was our last stop of the night!

I am working on the next day right now!

Ohhhhh you're my hero! This report is awesome.......4 parks in a day is on my Disney bucket list. Now I'm thinking about adding in a cool extra like 4 pictures with the same character! :)

You just have to plan out the day before hand. Check park hours and character hours. Don't want to waste time in a park if that character isn't available for a few hours.

Today is the day I had been waiting for since October 21, 2011. I first saw the thread and was hesitant to even mention that I would be interested in going. I didn't really feel like I knew anyone enough to join in. But I was welcomed into the group with open arms. It became an almost two year journey of planning and getting to know each other. The months of planning leading up to the trip were their own kind of fun. But it was time to get this cruise going! I was very excited to get the day started. I couldn't wait to meet everyone and board the ship!

We packed the car and made our way over to Port Orleans to pick up Jess and Diane. This was my first time driving around on property. I'll admit, it was a little nerve wracking at first. Especially since the GPS was trying to send me to all the wrong places. On our way to the Polynesian, it tried to take me to the Grand Floridian instead. LOL. We finally made it. We used the valet, might as well take advantage of that benefit from TIW!

We made our way into the Poly and ran into Darolyn, Ashley and Terryn on our way up to Kona. Almost everyone had their luggage lined up outside the restaurant. It was quite a sight to see all of it lined up. After doing a little dancing for the opening of Ohana, we were lead to our tables. This was our table!

Thanks to Tammy for this picture!

This was my first time at Kona. I was excited to try a new restaurant!

Jess doing her version of my Vanna Whiting!

Stephanie had the Macadamia Nut Pancakes.

I had the Big Kahuna. I enjoyed my breakfast very much. It was a lot of food, but it was all delish!

Jess had the Tonga Toast.

The lobby of the Poly is beautiful!

Thanks to Diane for this picture!

After unloading Jess and Diane's bags and rearranging ours, we headed out to the airport. This would be another first for me. I was hoping the ride wouldn't be too bad and thankfully it wasn't. After a few confusing minutes we made our way to pick up @Tiggerfanatic and @Sans Souci. I continued driving to the port. I had setup the settings on my camera so Stephanie could take pictures for me.

I was the first one to see the boat in the distance when we came over the hill. I believe the exact words out of my mouth were holy sh*t there's the boat. Then I realized I cursed in front of two ladies that I had never met before. Thankfully, no one got mad, or at least no one said anything.

We were all extremely excited to see the Dream getting bigger and bigger. She was so beautiful and we hadn't even made it to the port yet!

Thanks for the advice--adding this to the agenda of my next trip! I'm feeling ambition, maybe Mickey and Minnie (my favorite)!

Hi Jesemeca. I'm enjoying your WDWMagic Ladies cruise trip report, and also the others that have posted their reports.

I first saw the thread about the WDWMagic Ladies cruise in 2012, and popped in now and then to catch up on how things were going. And finally on the day of the cruise, I was planning to watch the live feed on the port cam of the Dream leaving port, but I had to do something and missed it :(Then I saw on the thread that someone posted a link to the footage from the port cam. So there was the Dream leaving, and slowly it came to the part where you ladies were holding up the banner that was made, and I must admit that my eyes actually teared up. I just felt very excited for y'all.

And I'm glad to see that there's a 2nd WDWMagic Ladies cruise scheduled.

P.S. Sorry off topic, but is that a Louisiana State brake tag that I see on the car you're driving in the photo above?

Isn't seeing the Dream for the first time just the most amazing sight? She is such a beautiful ship. Especially when she is docked next to another cruise line's ship. The Dream just stands out. Loving the report. Following along.

Thanks!

I watched the video recently and teared up myself. And I was there! LOL. It was a very emotional moment. I'll be posting about it soon.

Yes that is a Louisiana State brake tag. Are you from Louisiana?

It was my pleasure. It was a very fun trip to the port. So was the trip back. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought holy sh*t. LOL.

I'm writing more now!

This was my view from the parking garage.

Pretty darn good view!

We headed in through the security line, went through the metal detectors and up the escalator to be greeted by this.

We went straight to the check in line. Thanks to arriving so early, we were checked-in in no time at all. I believe we were boarding group 5 or 6. Not too shabby!

We went outside to take in the beauty of the Dream. And to take a quick smoke break. LOL. I was just in such awe that it was really her in front of me. All this time waiting, planning, dreaming of this moment and now it was right now! I couldn't wait to board the Dream, but I also didn't want to rush things too much. I didn't want to feel like it all passed by too quickly.

It was now time to board the Dream! I couldn't believe I was about to step onto the ship. I was a ball of emotion right now. I was nervous, excited, scared, hopeful, everything all at once.

Love the Mickey ears to walk through!

Making our way to the Dream!

I took this picture as I took my first step on the ship. It may not be the best picture, but every time I see this picture I always remember that first moment. I teared up, I'll admit. That first look in the Atrium, was divine. It was so much better than I ever could have imagined it would be. I coldn't believe that I was really standing on the Dream! The chandelier is absolutely stunning. I may have had a little crush on it as the days went on.

Before boarding the ship, the plan was to eat lunch at Enchanted Garden but it was not opened yet. So instead we headed up to Cabanas.

Empty pool! It didn't last long. LOL.

OMG, so much food, so little room in the stomach!

I was trying to take pictures of all the sand castles and this guy started posing for me.

Just a few of the options I had to choose from. It was like food heaven!

The mashed potatoes were the best. Delish! The pizza was pretty good. Everything else was okay. The shrimp were my least favorite. I should've know not to get shrimp, being from New Orleans and all. LOL.

The cookies were my favorite out of these. I had much, much better desserts later on in the cruise. Right, @LuvsTheMouse?

Thanks to Tammy for the picture.

We went out to check out more of the ship. We found one of the smoking sections, all the way up on deck 13. This was not a very good idea for me. I'm afraid of heights, I can't swim so the water was scary and I am prone to car sickness. Great combo for someone on their first cruise.

I was concerned about getting motion sickness while on the ship. I have always had trouble in the car. I was okay right when we boarded, but as time went on I started to feel a little sick. I was not feeling well for most of the afternoon. I was told that I hid it pretty well. As long as I didn't see the water for the most part I was okay. Oddly enough, I felt the best when I laid in the bed and relaxed for a few. I had heard that laying down can make it worse. By show time I was fine again. Thankfully, I had no more trouble after that!

We headed back in to go check out the kid's clubs. Oh, by the way, the we I am talking about is Jess, Diane, Stephanie and myself. Also, any pictures of me were most likely taken by either Jess or Diane. It's so nice to actually be in the pictures!

Such an awesome area! I wish I could have hung out here! I love all the colors.

Of course we had to pose!
