Personally, I've declined most of them. Still though they have that set of plain grey ones waiting for me when I check in. I have no idea why...but I usually say "thank you" and accept them.

So now I have 1 red, 1 orange, 1 green, 1 blue......and 47 grey.

You need 3 more greys. 50 Shades of Disney grey

This is our fourth trip to the world in last five years... My question is do you get a new magic band every time or at some point do you just say man I really dont need another one of these

I don't see why not. They're fun to collect and it's not like you haven't already paid for them! I'm trying to collect every color! I currently have orange, yellow, and green!

We have stopped getting new ones, but only because my kids have their Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom progress on their magic bands. I assume my DH and I could get new ones, but the old ones are linked to the kids (as their parent supervisors), so I don't want to risk messing anything up

The bands only identify the person. New bands will work just like the old ones, they tell the computer who you are.

Sorcerers is one of the only things seperate from the rest of the system. There’s no reason why you couldn’t get another band.

This November is the first trip we’ve declined bands....only because just this last April’s trip, we felt the urge to purchase 2 20th anniversary AK bands. We will def use for November, then next April’s trip...see how they hold up to the “white residue” that all the old ones get.

Signing on to MDE and seeing like 8 bands apiece gets confusing. Especially when I started deactivating old ones
Try to keep active ones in the suitcase so they don’t get forgotten!

Is the SOTMK progress actually stored on the band itself? I was under the impression nothing is actually stored on the band. And you are linked to your kids through the application not actually the band.
