What did I just do.

So about 3 hours ago I got a phone call from my recruiter from Disney Casting. And she asked me since I didn't get the job for character performer at the parks, so I said I wanted to do monorail driver and the people that do everything that they do. So my question is WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO HERE? Am I nuts on this. I know some people on this site work there, so can you help me here.

Well what she said was that they are going to put me on platform and then I am going to be a driver. I think this would be different.

I think even when you're a driver part of the rotation is platforms, so you'll drive sometimes but you'll be on platforms some.

Well I got myself out of it. The recuiter called me and asked me if I had a Florida Drivers License, and I said no. Then she told me that they are not allowing people that don't have a Florida Drivers License. So I said I didn't want to do it. So I choose to do Tomorrowland Attractions.

Basically they just hand us the map saying where Walt's cryogenically frozen body is and let us loose in the top secret, currently-being-built 5th gate...

(And no, he's not under the castle...)

But honestly, it's basically an overview of the company and it's founder (Walt Disney, not to state the obvious or anything...) I really enjoyed it, but I know other people who were bored to tears.

It all depends on your instructor...and parts are fun. But they have to go over all the legal stuff and sexual harrassment, which is harrassing to guys, ha! But yeah, it all depends on your instructor!
