What can I order?

We are planning a trip in Nov/Dec. We are getting the DDP and I know how it works, but have a question on what we can order. We are planning to use a couple of two credit table service meals because it really will work out well to do that based on our arrival and leaving times. I know that we get an entree, dessert, and beverage, but does it matter what entree? Some at the fine dining are around $45, and others go for $60. One place has a prix fixe. I don't want to pay anything additional (unless it's a planned appetizer and tip, just not surprises.) on top of 2 TS credits. So, is there any place that lists what you can get or is it anything on the menu that is in those guidelines?
Thank you!

It'll say it right on the menu. Yachtsman Steakhouse, for example:

5-oz Wagyu Strip Loin - $125
Miyazaki Prefecture Marble Score A5 (If using Disney Dining Plan, a surcharge will apply)

Just so you're aware, the 2-credit restaurants are generally a poor use of dining plan credits. They're more expensive than the 1-credit restaurants, but usually not double.

Thank you! I'm glad it is on the menu. Is there no where online that lists it?
I know, but we have an extra day of credits we would have a hard time using, so this is a good chance to try those whereas we wouldn't if we didn't have extra.

The Prix Fixe menu at Monsieur Paul is included for 2 credits

I somewhat disagree with @CaptainAmerica that 2-credit restaurants are generally a poor use of dining plan credits. Of course, it is not the double the food but it is double the experience and double the quality. My wife and I are foodies and we totally love the Signature Restaurant, especially Artist Point and Monsieur Paul; and want to try other Signature Restaurants like Jiko and Narcoossee's

I don't know of one place that has a complete list, but if you go to the official menu for a particular restaurant on Disney's website, you'll find them there.

I like them too. But if you're going to do a lot of signature dining, you're almost certainly better off skipping the dining plan and paying cash instead.

If we go for trip under 5 days, then we do skip the dining plan but if we go for trips over 5 (especially 8-day) days, then we get the Deluxe dining plan. If these cases, we typically eat a breakfast, snacks for lunch and signature for dinner or snacks for breakfast, early lunch and signature for dinner.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
There is very few entree exclusions on the dining plan. Most menu items yes even the $45-60 entrees are indeed included. And as people already noted if it’s not included or it’s an upcharge it will say so. But there is not many at all like that even at the signatures. ;)

Thank you all for your help! That really helps me to know that I can pick a restaurant I really want and it should be covered.

I think it depends on what you are going to order. Sometimes the use of 2 credits is worth it, other times it isnt. Ive used the Dining plan on a couple of occasions, but, most often, the TIW discount far exceeds the value of the DDP. I think you really have to look at restaurants and figure out whats worth more to you as an individual.

So my trip is coming up, May 13-22nd and every night we're eating at a signature restaurant.

- Morimoto Asia
- Hollywood Brown Derby
- STK Orlando
- California Grill
- Flying Fish
- The Boathouse
- Yachtsman Steakhouse
- Narcoossee's
- Jiko

And we're also eating at various table restaurants for lunch some days and some days breakfast and I tested, verified and re-tested the numbers. For 2 people. The DDP including paying for tip was about $400-500 more than paying out of pocket for our entire trip. I also made various threads about this as well but it's been a couple months so those threads are buried.

In our case, the dining plan was not worth it and was more money.

I still think there is some value to the Deluxe Dining Plan in where if you don't mind paying a little more, you have the convenience of having everything paid for and "worry free" so to speak.
