What camera?

I was looking through my old pics and found these. The one on the left is from 2011, it's a standard Canon Powershot. And the one on the right is with my Canon Rebel in 2012. I didn't realize quite the difference it made! It will definitely be coming with me again in 2014!

So, what camera is usually packed with you?

We need time for things to happen.

The first thing i noticed is that the powershot seems to put ugly cranes in your shot.
The second thing i noticed was that this was at DHS...should i be concerned that your scoping out potential sites for your proposed "future parking lots" plan???

In all seriousness - photography has always been a bit of a (wishful) hobby for me. But unfortunately it takes a backseat to music when it comes to spending any real money or time on it, so i always end up getting a simple point and shoot and i am ultimately p-ssed and jealous when i see everyone elses awesome pics around here and compare them to what i end up with.

Got the wife a Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR last year for xmas. Looking forward to seeing what kinds of pics we can get from that compared to the Sony Cybershot that we used previously.

My iPhone. I used to spend way too much time taking pictures on vacations, so much that I didn't feel like I was fully present most of the time. Now I'm just going to enjoy myself and pull out my phone as needed.

Does anyone have any experience of the gopro style cameras as have often thought they might give unique pictures

My wife is going to get one for this years Sept trip. She is in a power wheelchair and will be bringing her service dog with her. She wants to use it to show people her perspective from sitting in a chair and also attach it to her dog's collar,to see how the dogs view being more unique.
It seems like every trip we get a newer, better camera to try to tweak the Disney pictures up. On the last trip we used a Cannon SX10IS, this year we will also have along a Cannon T4i.

Yeah, she's going to post them on her facebook and show it so people see the difficulty of being in a w/c, moving through crowds, cramped store aisles, maneuvering through restaurants with limited space. Sure will open peoples eyes. Then for the dog people, to better appreciate all they have to do to help as a service dog. See if she can also get it on here.
