What came free with Beauty and the Beast Special Edition?

I've noticed that when new dvd/video movies come out ,
stores like Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Circuit City give free sodas, promotional dvds, posters, etc with the purchase of the movie. (For example, I got JB Die Another Day and a free Bond girl video from Best Buy). I was wondering what did stores give out for free when Beauty and the Beast Special Edition came out? I didn't know myself because I got the dvd from the disney store catalog and I got 4 free lithographs. I really would like to know because I want to buy Sleeping Beauty on dvd later but if I can get a promotional dvd or poster with the movie in the store, then I'd rather buy it from Target or Best Buy rather than get 1 free lithograph from the Disney store.
Unfortunately, buying from Disney store is less attractive now since they've cut back on the number of free lithographs (from 4 prints to 1 print!!) they give with the purchase of a movie.

Since I usually pre-order from the Disney Store or catalog myself I don't know if other stores have given out free stuff. However, I can tell you that Disney has not cut back from one litho to four as general practice. It all depends on the movie. Piglet's Big Movie and Jungle Book II only had one litho, but they are pretty minor movies. Lion King will have four because it's a major release. Personally, I liked it better when they just did one before they switched to giving four. I don't have room to display four from every movie. Oh well, just have to pick the best of the four to display.

The Disney Store also gives you a $10 gift card if your purchase is over $50 when pre-ordering your video, which is really cool.

Actually... I've noticed they're giving the 4 away more often for the bigger movies

At the resorts, the special edition came with your choice of a second DVD, to pick from a list of 6 titles...I forget what they were....but we picked Ichibod and Mr. Toad, a resort exclusive collectible pin, free shipping and no sales tax if you lived out of state.Discounts for Premium Annual Passholders did apply. I will most likely order my Lion King DVD the same way
The DVD was selling for 19.99....

Do I have to be in the park to get this deal or can I get it through resort mailorder? What kind of discounts do premium passholders get?

You had to do it at the resort. The pins were given to me at the time of my reservation, at the parks. They only mailed the DVD's.
Our annual pass discount is 10%. I will try to find out Lion King info as soon as I can...:animwink:
