What bad attractions would you place with?

I've been thinking.. Ya'll have always said "Get rid of this" or "Get ride of that"... what would ya'll actually replace these attractions with?..

Journey into Imagination
Captain EO
Narnia (closed ik)
Stitch's Great Mistake
Mission: Space
Country Bear Jamboree
Laugh Floor Comedy Club
Dinoland
L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show
Sounds Dangerous (closed ik)
Ellen's Energy Adventure
Circle of Life: An Invironmental Tale
American Idol Experience

and any add-ons.. Personally, I would expand Imagination's ride again but bring back dreamfinder and drop the scientific theme. Or re-theme the whole pavilion to a 4D Agent Perry movie and a Phineas and Ferb ride. I have no idea what to replace Narnia, it's such a little space. Stitch... no new ideas except maybe something involving a 3D 360-degree theater? Mission: Space, a new, tamer, simulator ride. Perhaps a new Body Wars :D Country Bears, don't replace, just update big time. Comedy Club.. possibly a new show with alot of different disney talk-to characters. idk. Dinoland, I personally like it. Don't judge. LMA, a new stunt show or show similar to beauty and the beast but a different movie. Sounds Dangerous: I said it already, Phineas and Ferb 4D. Ellen's Energy Adventure. Just an update with a different game show and somebody to replace Bill Nye. Ellen can make Disney some money now that Orpa's gone. Circle of Life.. that theater could be big enough for a new AA show. If not, then expand the stage either toward the audience or in the back. American Idol.. I was thinking a special new big-karaoke restaurant. Idk

Well let's see here. I'm actually a fan of a number of attractions, so I'll mark the ones that I would keep.

Journey into Imagination - an improved, "trackless" version of JII more akin to the original, featuring Figment and Dreamfinder on a new adventure
Captain EO - folded into the Imagination ride
Narnia (closed ik) - bulldoze, use as entrance to new DHS Toontown in backlot
Stitch's Great Mistake - perhaps a 3D dome movie attraction, akin to the turtle experience opening at SeaWorld
Mission: Space - despite the "popularity" of what it replaced, it's a good ride that fits the Epcot theme better than any other modern Epcot attraction. Why get rid of it?
Country Bear Jamboree - a refurb. Other than that, this classic isn't going anywhere
Laugh Floor Comedy Club - it could stay, but I wouldn't say no to a small dark ride about the future that TL94 depicts
Dinoland - a gentle jungle flume ride (think Jungle Cruise) featuring AA dinosaurs in playful scenes, as a younger alternative to Dinosaur
L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show - stays. At most, drops the fake movie production pretext and focuses on a more espionage-themed plot
Sounds Dangerous (closed ik) - a new indoor Jedi Training Academy, featuring an AA Yoda and a Star Wars themed-boutique (geared for boys). Alternatively, combined with American Idol for an elaborate dark ride about how the moviemaking process
Ellen's Energy Adventure - either stays, or replaced with a new film about energy
Circle of Life: An Environmental Tale - wouldn't be terrible if it stayed, but a new cinematic documentary inspired by Disney Earth would be pretty neat
American Idol Experience - either a modern take on Superstar Television, or see above

Journey into Imagination-fix please....They need to open up the second floor again...think imagineers!
Captain EO- stay! please! at least for another year or two then back to honey bla bla bla
Narnia (closed ik)- maybe another walk through of a movie
Stitch's Great Mistake- um its escape and its ok. idk why people get their knickers in a twease over this
Mission: Space- stay!
Country Bear Jamboree- STAY!
Laugh Floor Comedy Club- STAY none of these should leave permanently
Dinoland- add to it
L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show- stay
Sounds Dangerous (closed ik)- maybe an imagineer showcase room
Ellen's Energy Adventure- stay...well wait...it is rather boring
Circle of Life: An Invironmental Tale- oh I haven't done this in a long time so I'd say re do
American Idol Experience- um I have been a part of this 2 times now and its my favorite so stay

Hollywood studios need to expand big time
Epcot needs help in future world and add more countries in world showcase
Magic Kingdom is good!
Animal kingdom is getting a big expansion so I guess its ok for now
Downtown Disney needs more shops like Disneylands!

That is all

Journey into Imagination - Something more in line with the original. Dreamfinder and all.
Captain EO - Don't know. I'd be okay with a Phineas and Ferb 3D show.
Narnia (closed ik) - Maybe a One Man's Dream type exhibit centering around Pixar?
Stitch's Great Mistake - To be honest, I have no idea. XD
Mission: Space - I wouldn't replace it, I would expand it into a more fully-established pavilion. Mission: Space isn't a bad attraction. It just can't do a justice to space on its own.
Country Bear Jamboree - Clean it up. It has a small footprint and it's a classic, so it's not worth closing.
Laugh Floor Comedy Club - Like with Stitch, no clue. Just a note, I'd be perfectly fine if they dropped this show in Pixar Place.
Dinoland - This is another tough one. I can't think of anything except that dinosaur coaster that was planned before, but putting two major thrill rides together and calling it a land doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show - No clue. It really can't be brought into Backlot Tour anymore (I don't think the ride is very appealing anymore). It's a pretty decent piece of land, especially when combined with Backlot Tour. I say leave it up until the land is needed.
Sounds Dangerous (closed ik) - I like MarkTwain's making of the movies dark ride idea.
Ellen's Energy Adventure - In my ideal world, Energy is not a single 45 minute ride. I would much prefer a pavilion with a couple of attractions. I think Energy could be a far more popular pavilion if it didn't have a 45 minute time committment, but tearing the ride down and starting anew would be very costly.
Circle of Life: An Invironmental Tale - I don't know. Maybe a DisneyNature thing could go here.
American Idol Experience - See Sounds Dangerous.

Journey into Imagination - Dreamfinder & Figment. Upstairs Imageworks.
Captain EO - Sorry,I like Captain EO.
Narnia - A new 3D movie.
Stitch's Great Mistake - Hahaha,mistake. Anything non-Stitch/Pixar related.
Mission: Space - I've never been on Mission:Space so I can't say whether it should stay or not. I'm too scared to go on it.
Country Bear Jamboree - Stay. I love this show.
Laugh Floor Comedy Club - It should stay but move it to DHS.
Dinoland - Bulldoze.
L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show - Something different. I never liked this show.
Sounds Dangerous - Phineas and Ferb 3D movie or a new attraction.
Ellen's Energy Adventure - Bring back the original ride and preshow. Energy, you make the world go around.
Circle of Life: An Environmental Tale - ANYTHING. Maybe a show like Kitchen Kabaret/Food Rocks
American Idol Experience - A new attraction.

Who the heck ever said Mission: Space was a bad attraction? It's my second favorite ride in Future World... Refurb energy with Jeff Bridges, new film, and make it 3D. More animatronics too...

Within the quoted areas are my responses....

Journey into Imagination - something closure to the cutting edge of the original (still starring Figment of course!) and using the second floor for imageworks again

Captain EO - not sure.....

Narnia (closed ik) - it is awful small.. might be a nice area to switch out all the time with something new coming to a Disney movie screen...but it would have to be swapped out OFTEN (as in 3 or 4 months Max!)

Stitch's Great Mistake - its boring.....either go back to the Alien Encounter or something a bit more fun!

Mission: Space - Give it a Star Tours-like Upgrade with random missions and this would be even better

Country Bear Jamboree - upgrade the tech (BUT NOT THE SHOW)...do the holiday shows again..otherwise leave it as it is!

Laugh Floor Comedy Club - More random content...otherwise it is great the way it is.

Dinoland - leave it alone... DAK has a lot of room to expand without deleting things already there

L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show - no idea.....but this stadium area is rather large so a lot could be possible...if you add in some or all of the backlot tour areas you have even more!

Sounds Dangerous (closed ik) -combine the area with American Idol and you could put a very nice ride in the area...

Ellen's Energy Adventure - Remove Ellen....make the preshow and such more up to date....otherwise leave the Dinos and the rest alone..

Circle of Life: An Invironmental Tale - not sure... its such a small area I am not sure it would be worth changing... perhaps a new movie maybe.

American Idol Experience - see sounds dangerous above
[/I]

Seriously though...I would rather WDW expanded without cannibalizing old areas and rides......

I always thought that Country Bear Jamboree would be a great place for a "Woody's Roundup" type 3D show. The setting would be perfect.

That's brilliant. It's a perfect fit, but theres quite a bit of Toy Story stuff as it is around WDW. I'd say Buzz should be replaced first before this makes it in that space. Also, CBJ is a classic so it would be hard to take it away

Narnia (closed ik) - bulldoze, use as entrance to new DHS Toontown in backlot

Yes yes and YES!
Although I personally think they should make use of this space as what remains of the "studio backlot" theming. (including the tour and stunt show and the animation academy stuff) It would fit well in the 'back' of the park and the rest of the park could then be free to use for the loose themes that exist there.

Mission: Space - despite the "popularity" of what it replaced, it's a good ride that fits the Epcot theme better than any other modern Epcot attraction. Why get rid of it?
Country Bear Jamboree - a refurb. Other than that, this classic isn't going anywhere
100% agree

Journey into Imagination -- Refurb, reminiscent original. Or bulldoze to just update it more.

Captain EO -- It'll stay for a while longer probably. It's classic, but shouldn't be permanent. Do not bring back HISTA. I wouldn't mind a Phineas and Ferb 4D attraction.

Narnia (closed ik) -- It's a small space, so it couldn't be a huge attraction. But DHS needs more attractions! Either update more frequently with upcoming Disney movies (John Carter next, etc.) or expand One Man's Dream into it.

Stitch's Great Mistake -- ugh. I hate this attraction. Maybe something with Wall-E? or a Circle-Vision 360 future film about space!

Mission: Space -- Keep. It fits Future World theme.

Country Bear Jamboree -- Refurb, but keep.

Laugh Floor Comedy Club -- I like this attraction, even though it doesn't exactly fit Tomorrowland.

Dinoland -- I like the idea of a Dinosaur boat ride that was earlier posted, a Jungle Cruise-esque attraction. Get rid of the carnival stuff.

L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show -- It'll stay probably. I don't hate it, but the Cars section is just lame. Expand Pixar Place into this!!

Sounds Dangerous (closed ik) -- Jedi Training Academy, or something with Star Wars. Or combine this and AI Experience to make a full attraction based on making movies.

Ellen's Energy Adventure -- Refurb/update.

Circle of Life: An Invironmental Tale -- Never seen this, but I like the idea of Disney Nature making a movie for this.

American Idol Experience -- It's a cool attraction, but it's already run its course. Make some sort of stage show, related to TV. Or combine with Sounds Dangerous' space to make full attraction based on movies (see above).

It could probably fit well in Pixar Place at HS instead of replacing an attraction. Or better yet, add a new theater for it in Frontierland! The land does need at least one new attraction.

Stitch's Great Mistake -- ugh. I hate this attraction. Maybe something with Wall-E?

As far as what COULD go in that space.. that's brilliant!! Think Turtle Talk with Crush but with a Wall-E AA? :) I could see it being a pretty funny attraction as well!

Journey into Imagination: refurb and change it to the original
Captain EO: Keep it
Narnia: Use it to expand One Mans Dream
Stitch's Great Escape: replace it with anything ,but what is currently there
Mission: Space: Keep it
Country Bear Jamboree: Refurb it upgrade all the animatronics and audio
Laugh Floor Comedy Club: move it to Pixar Palce in HS
Dinoland: Keep Dinosaur and replace everything else with an eticket or two
L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show: close it for future expansion of Pixar Place
Sounds Dangerous American Idol Experience: close those two and make a dticket ride
Ellen's Energy Adventure: Upgrade it
Circle of Life: An Invironmental Tale: I actually think this is intresting ,but it needs to go
Backlot Tour: close it for future expansion of Pixar Place
Magic Carpet Ride: dump it

Journey into Imagination - The original with a few 21st century advancements
Captain EO - Keep it. Phineas and Ferb? Really? How about the 3-D Dreamfinder and Figment movie I've read about?
Narnia (closed ik) - Monsters, Inc. Roller Coaster that has been rumored...or maybe the Ratatouille attraction going in Disneyland Studios Paris.
Stitch's Great Escape! - Keep it. I enjoy this about 1000x more than that Alien Encounter mess.
Mission: Space - Keep it or create a 21st century Horizons.
Country Bear Jamboree - Keep it.
Laugh Floor Comedy Club - Bring back Timekeeper. Or, create a new futuristic 360 film
Dinoland - They could possibly keep this if they bulldoze the off-the-shelf junk and add something like a dark ride about dinosaurs. Not a thrill ride, like Dinosaur!, but one more edutainment-oriented.
L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show - Just about anything. Or nothing. This is truly one of the worst shows in Disney World. Maybe add a theater back in an put on Hunchback again.
Sounds Dangerous (closed ik) - While I must have been the only person in the world who enjoyed this show, I'm good with combining it and the American Idol Theaters to form one good dark ride. How about the Muppet Movie Ride?
Ellen's Energy Adventure - Keep it with some modern tweaks (ie. Alex Trebek really needs to reshoot his scenes)
Circle of Life: An Environmental Tale - Keep it. A great show.
American Idol Experience - Just like L!M!A! if this disappeared tomorrow, I would not give it a second thought. See Sounds Dangerous!
Test Track - World of Motion with 21st Century improvements
Wonders of Selling Alcohol - BRING BACK WONDERS OF LIFE! Again, a few 21st century tweaks would be great, but for me, not absolutely necessary...though they must replace the TVs for Goofy About Health!
The Seas with Nemo and Friends - Can't stand Turtle Talk and the Nemo attraction is a lame, budget version of Disneyland's Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Keep the attraction, but add some education. Fluff doesn't work in that Park.
Maelstrom - Whoever thought up that ending should be shot. Oil is the best thing about Norway's present? What does that say about us? Replace that stupid ending with something actually related to modern Norwegian life, and I'd be okay with it. And keep The Spirit of Norway, though an update wouldn't be a bad thing and closed doors during the show would be even better.
Spaceship Earth - Give me back the old ending, or at least improve the current one. Those fiber optics were amazing.
Club Cool - Bring back Ice Station Cool. That was actually fun to walk through AND you got a free drink (or ten).
Soarin' - Create something Food Rocks!-ish, but make the audio-animatronics as impressive as Country Bears. If you really think you need Soarin', give it its own pavilion and create a film that has something to do with the future, agriculture, the weather, or something EPCOT-related.

Journey into Imagination - Maybe we could marry the two major iterations of the ride and have the Imagination Institute beam you into someone's imagination, where Figment and Dreamfinder take over. Also, in the original ride, Dreamfinder says,"You never know what kind of figment you might come up with. Oh, here's my favorite." and the make your own Figment video terminals in the current post-show imply that there are other Figment-like characters floating around somewhere. Make some of them minor characters in the ride and you can sell more plush.

Captain EO - Anything. Maybe a 3-D movie would be a good place to introduce these other figments of the imagination (see above).

Narnia - It's not necessarily bad to have a themed walkthrough attraction to promote one of your movies; the problem with Narnia was that it greatly overstayed its welcome. It stayed around soooo long that Disney dropped the franchise, the next movie in the series was released by a rival studio and came out on DVD before the attraction closed.

Stitch's Great Escape/Sounds Dangerous - Move ExtraTERRORestrial Encounter to the Sounds Dangerous theater. That attraction is really about the the power of sound, too. People would be more accepting of it in DHS. I think it's a fine attraction, but people weren't ready for it in MK. Move the entrance closer to Star Tours and you've got a little space mini-land.

Mission: Space - Make the little buttons you push actually matter. I'm also not fond of the whole training storyline. I wanna go on a "real" mission. At Disney, you're supposed to be transported to another time and place, right? Well, in Mission:Space, that place is school.

Country Bear Jamboree - If you could actually hear the show from the back of the theater, that would help greatly. This might sound wild but stick with me: make it a new Country Bear Christmas show permanently. There were a couple dud songs in the old one. Disney already has a year-round Christmas store in Liberty Square, I believe. Move that over near CBJ. The beauty of making it Christmas all the time is that the Christmas songs will (almost) never get dated. Fifty years from now, people will still be singing "Rudolph", "Jingle Bells" and "Twelve Days of Christmas". Keep it upbeat. Ten months out of the year, have a little line at the beginning of the show that says the bears were too busy hibernatin' and they missed Christmas so they're celebrating now. Drop that line in November and December... you don't need an explanation of why they're celebrating Christmas. I know you're probably thinking that people won't be in the mood for Christmas in May, but CBJ doesn't exactly pull in huge crowds now and I think 10-12 minutes of Christmas fun would be welcome by many.

Dinol-Rama - Excavator.

L!M!A! Extreme Stunt Show - Have Cars cars that can drive fast.

Ellen's Energy Adventure - Take out one of the ride vehicles. A lot of time now is spent waiting for the other vehicles to slowly meander onto the ride path in front of you. You could reprogram to make the transitions between scenes quicker and maybe shave a couple minutes ride time off. There's probably a couple minutes to be cut in the movie scenes, too. Also, eliminating that capacity would make the ride look fuller. I seriously think there is some cognitive dissonance going on where people think, "If the attraction is empty, then it must suck."

Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable - There was a rumor that characters from the then-upcoming Pixar movie Newt were coming here. Then, the movie died on the vine. I say why not bring those characters here? The movie was somewhat close to its release date before they killed it, so there must have been substantial work on character models done. Salvage that production cost from Pixar and turn it into a theme park attraction. The movie was going to be about the last two members of an endangered species... fits the Land fine.

I like the idea of a Dreamfinder and Figment 3-D movie replacing Captain EO and if JIIWF stays but guests might question why Figment has 2 human friends. :hammer:
