What are your opinions on this???

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
If our next trip takes place next July we are probably going to split it
2 Weeks in pop century followed by 2 weeks at The Polynesian!!!:sohappy:

This makes it much more affordable, and as we wont be using the dining plan and we will be annual passholders by then we shouldnt have any problems in those areas!

What are your opinions on this?? Any and all replys welcome, thanx in advance :wave::wave:

I agree with most of the posters. Four weeks IMHO is too long. We went one time for 10 days and it was getting a bit old. (Of course our next trip will be for 12 days but I am going to diversify our days.) And, you could not pay me to go there in July. 8/99 we went back to FL for my brother in laws graduation at UF so we figured we would do a day at MK while in FL. That day I actually (GASP) started to dislike WDW and we ended up not going back again until 2/06!

$20,000 for one trip? You can buy a DVC for that and have years to enjoy it. If it is what you want then enjoy it. 4 weeks for me is a bit much but if it makes you happy then go for it.

Wow! No way could you get me to go to Disney in July! :hammer: We're going to celebrate my 30th birthday in September. My birthday is in July, but I told my dh that no way were we going then. I thought September would be hot enough! :fork:

I'd love to go to Disney for a whole month! That would be awesome! :sohappy: I don't think you're crazy for going that long. The longest we've gone was for 2 1/2 weeks, then we went on the coast for a week. Or, we've done and week Disney cruise and then 1 or 2 weeks in Disney.

Have you ever thought of doing a Disney Cruise first and then going to the Poly for 2 weeks? Just another idea. (I didn't read any other posts, so maybe someone's already suggested it.)

Sorry but a whole month would be too long for me. I couldnt see myself staying at Pop half century for 2 weeks, only for a couple of days and a week at most. Id probably try and do something else for two weeks, either elsewhere in FLA, or some other state. Then Id stay at the Poly for 2 weeks and enjoy all of WDW. Though I must admit that even staying there for 2 weeks would be a bit much for me, but if thats what you want to do or are already planning on doing than go for it. But personally, a whole month in WDW? Not for me lol.

I like the idea someone had for the cruise. That would be a good way to still experience Disney but get out of the bustle of the parks.

Are you going to rent a car at all and see any other part of Orlando? Make sure you get the water park option, that will make a nice break from the parks.

i'm so jealous that you have the funds and the time to go to disney for 4 weeks! thats AWESOME! :D i think 2 weeks at the poly sounds amazing. going for 4 weeks would be so nice to really enjoy absolutely everything disney has to offer. you could actually take time to explore all of the parks to the fullest and have plenty of time to relax! i say if you have the money and time, go for it!

Exactly with 4 weeks there we have plenty of time to see everything at a relaxed pace and the 1st 2 weeks at Pop Century we will also go to Seaworld, Universal, and Busch Gardens aswel as hitting the disney parks most days! Then when we move over to the Poly wel kick back and relax, enjoy the resort and the beachand hit the parks every other day! To me sounds like a dream :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

The planning for a month long trip alone would keep me on my toes. Sounds like you will have a lot of time to explore the parks at your leisure. I have never had the opportunity (nor the funds) for a month long trip, so that sounds great to me. Have a wonderful time.

I have to agree with everyone else that a month is an awfully long time to spend in WDW.

I think splitting up your time with a Disney cruise would be a great option or maybe even doing WDW for a few weeks then flying out to California and visiting Disneyland and DCA for a bit, this would really help break things up and you'd get to see another piece of Disney magic. I stayed at the Disneyland hotel (conceirge level) when I went and it was awesome!

Have fun with whatever you end up doing!
