Just interested to know what your MUSTS are for your trips to WDW. We are going for the third time and our daughter's second visit in the fall and I am having a hard time not doing a LOT of things but want her to experience it in a whole new way too!

We did a Princess Meal at CRT last trip so I am thinking Aukerhaus this time. With a day of getting autographs from each of the Princesses at World Showcase. We skipped Disney Junior Live on Stage last time, but now that it is to have Doc McStuffins and Princess Sofia the first I believe it will be a must. We did the Lion King Show on both trips and love it so it will be up there for Animal Kingdom day.

Did you do the Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid shows in HS? Merida is now doing M &G I hear she is wonderful. Crystal Palace has Pooh and friends at meals. Lucky you I get pirates and turkey legs!

We did the Little Mermaid show but missed the Beauty and the Beast show. Will definitely do it b/c I have heard rumors both are going away b/c of the new stuff at Fantasyland. I am praying the Princess meet and greet is open at MK by September. Pirates are fun too!

My DD, now almost 8!!, loved BBB the 2 times she has done it at ages 5 and 6...we skipped makeovers our last trip but she is telling me now she wants to do Pirate's League next trip, we'll see! We have also gone to Grand Floridian Spa a couple times during trips for pedicures, fabulous! She has always been much more interested in the shows and was so bummed we didn't make it to Beauty and the Beast in HS last trip. My son just wants to be on the rides the whole trip, all of them! They love collecting/trading pins and pressing pennies. I buy them pins for rides/attractions that they were "Brave" to finally try each trip, it's a very popular tradition for us.
There's just so much, I could go on and on!

There are so many rides I think she would like now that she will be a little older. She was 3 her first trip and will be 5 this trip. Her Grammy and PaPa are going to so I wouldn't be surprised if they take her to every Princess Meal and BBB and everything they can. She turns 5 the second day we are there so gonna be tons of fun!

Our trip when she turned 3 was AMAZING! We got to see her picture with Cinderella on Cinderella's Castle during the WISHES SPECTACULAR Fireworks show. I bawled my eyes out. So magical. And I saw tink fly around right after we saw her picture. So needless to say it is gonna be hard to top, but we are hoping to. Her Grammy and Papa (my parents) will get to experience it with her for the first time so that in itself will be magical!

I actually try to have very few musts so we can keep it fresh each trip. So, I guess one of my biggest musts is to keep trying new things. PotC, Small World, and SSE are really only my musts for rides/attractions. Wishes and special cakes have started becoming musts for us these last few trips and should be things we'll do again in the future. I get a little crazy with dining and like trying new things, but I think at least one character meal each trip will be something I keep in our plans whenever return as well.

You know, I used to not be able to narrow it down, but two summers I went down for a training and did not have a lot of park time (plus I was pregnant and moving a little slow). That trip forced me to narrow down my musts. It turns out they are, in no particular order....
Pirates of the Caribbean
Haunted mansion
Spaceship Earth
Wishes
Walking around world showcase
And....eating at Pecos Bills

I'm always shocked at how many people name certain attractions as "must do's". I guess the reason I don't understand it is that I am accustomed to trying to hit as many of the rides as we possibly can...or at least all of the ones other than the few that we just don't care to do. I can't imagine going to WDW and only doing a handful of select rides.

Having said that, though, I guess there are certain rides that we absolutely, positively make sure that they don't end up on the "oops, the line was too long and we never got back to that ride" list, or the "oops, we just ran out of time and didn't make it over there" list. Probably too many to list though. But as for other things (besides rides) that are "must do's" on every trip...

Having at least one sit down meal at our resort
Going to Fort Wilderness
Riding the Monorail
Breakfast at Crystal Palace
Supper at several other resort hotels (with Chef Mickey's as a must do)
Recreational activities at our hotel (bike riding, pool, etc)
Dole Whip
Pecos Bills

Awww:) Turtle Talk with Crush at The Seas in Epcot is fun for all ages especially her age. And I personally can't do a trip to WDW (longer than a day trip) without sharing a Kakagori (shaved ice, rainbow or melon flavor) in the Japan section of Epcot. It's kinda messy but really perks you back up with much needed hydration/ a cool down and a sugar buzz at the same time!:)

Totally agree with ddbowdoin. Best way to organise this would be write down things you don't like. For instance me,I cannot do coasters at all,but I love simulators, then work out what you all like to eat.check out reviews and menus. Our surprise TS last year was T-Rex,food & atmosphere was way above from what I expected.Total blast.:)

I don't know how Pecos Bill ends up on so many "Must Do" lists. That place is awful! Even for counter service.

My list is: (list is for anyone 18+, not kids per say)
Epcot
- Spaceship Earth. Especially now with the narration by Judi Dench. But seriously, I see something different every time I ride.
- The Land. It's so magical, right? With the little growing fruits and vegetables. It's better after you've uh, drunk around the world.
- Mexico Pavilion / San Angel Inn. This is THE place to eat folks. They have great empanadas and tacos here. I'm Mexican and let me tell you-- it comes close. Also more economical than say the sit down restaurants. A close second is the Sunshine Seasons eatery inside the Land Pavilion/ Soarin' queue area.
- Gift shops in Epcot: Do NOT miss Japan , China , France and Mexico's gift stores.

Magic Kingdom
- Splash Mountain. And I want to add that if you don't want to get wet, definitely ride the back of the trunk. I've gotten the least wet here each time I ride.
- Haunted Mansion. Self explanatory, really. Plus, they added a really neat interactive queue area in recent times.
- The Main Street Bakery. Not sure if that is it's official name but it is located in Main Street and they have delicious chocolate chip muffins and cheesecake. Great to munch on while you watch the parade!
- Parade watching from the train station balcony on Main. This is THE place to scope out the electrical parade/fire works.
- People Mover. This is a "boring, slow ride". But when you've been walking around on your achey feet all day, you will thank me for this relaxing break as you tour Tomorrow Land. There is also a fantastic retro vibe happening here.
- Peter Pan. By far the best "dark ride" in the Disney World parks. I remember Snow White being my favorite when I was wee and lived in L.A. I'm looking forward to the Snow White ride in new Fantasy Land.

Animal Kingdom
- I can't say. Because I haven't really visited this park that much. I only went once and it was just to go to Rainforest Cafe. Hopefully this will change with my upcoming February/birthday visit! But........
- Nemo Show. The Nemo Show is great. It's the one thing I remember doing at AK. It's Broadway quality guys. Superb!

Hollywood Studios
- Hollywood Tower Hotel. My personal favorite of the thrill rides at WDW. I'm a huge film noir/ classic film devotee and this attraction satisfies that part of me when I'm at WDW. In fact, the whole Sunset Boulevard area is awesome.
- Beauty and the Beast. Somehow the Disney folks crammed a Broadway style production into 20 or 25 minutes. Put it on your list.
- Fantasmic. This is by far the best fireworks / night time display at WDW. It doesn't compare to anything anywhere else. It's absolutely stunning and honestly, I could easily see WDW charging a separate entry fee for this. We're lucky it comes included in the ticket cost of HS. Definitely make the time to check this out. It'd be a great end to your trip.
- ABC Commissary

Resorts
- Whenever I stay with friends or family, we try to stay on site. There are various reasons for this. For one, the convenience of staying on property-- buses shuttle you around from the hotels to other hotels and from hotels to parks and dining. This comes especially in hand when you want to get to MK. You get to skip the whole take a monorail or ferry boat to the actual park thing.
- I've stayed at Port Orleans FQ, Coronado, Caribbean Beach and Key West. So far, POFQ has been my favorite. It is the most relaxing of all the hotels, in my opinion. It's quiet and it's been the least full of excitable children and their respective irritable parents (Sorry, no offense! :) ) But speaking strictly for scenery, Caribbean Beach is beautiful. The property literally resembles a tropical vacation. I suggest making "resort hopping" a part of your plans. You get to see all that the different properties have to offer-- no two are alike. Well, except for the rooms themselves. Those all pretty much look the same so far.

Downtown Disney
- Wolfgang Puck Express - Wolfgang for less $$$. Who's not down with that? Great food and wine at a reasonable cost.
- I'm not exactly sure what it is called but I want to say House of Mouse(???). It is the shop adjacent to Wolfgang Puck express and they have all sorts of goodies for the home/kitchen/cook books.
- Ghiradelli Soda Fountain. I don't think I need to explain this.
- Finally, the best place to eat at Downtown Disney is indeed Raglan Road. Especially for the 21+ crowd. Great fish and chips and great brews on tap plus they put on a nice Celtic dancing show.

Best Dining Experience
- BOMA at AK Lodge: Holy piglet! This place is delicious. And so worth the $30 give or take. You seriously get great value. So much food and vegetarian friendly.

Hope this helps anyone looking for suggestions. I'm eager to try some of these breakfast suggestions.:)
