What are your favorite "overlooked" attractions?

The monorail. Definitely the monorail. I love to just ride that thing in circles.
One day, I will ride it for a full day and as long as allowed at night. May get a bit hungry, but I'm gonna do it! ;)
Alos, Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Why people overlook this suits me. It's one of my favorites. Relaxing and interesting at the same time. :)

I would be tempted to say Disney transportation as well, but since it seems like such a popular answer, I'll change it up.

How about the "One Man's Dream" Attraction over at MGM, those exhibits are awesome, and the movie pays such respect to the man that made it all happen.
It really gets overlooked with all of the other big attractions at the Studios

Two of our favorites have been ones we didn't plan. Pipa the talking recycling can sang Happy Birthday for our daughter's 4th at Rafiki's Conservation Station. A year later Wes Palm at the AK entrance remarked at the flower on her sweat suit. Both were totally impromptu but a wonderful 3 minutes.

Incidentally, I believe the same voice did both!

Definetly the monorails... Even the one at the airport that brings you to baggage claim.. lol

Ditto! I love riding on it, it's like kicking off your trip the Disney Way! We had a lay over and my aunt and cousin just kept riding it back and fourth to pass time!

I also really like the people mover as I like to refer to it. For some reason I love this ride. You just sit and watch the people below and get to go thru space mountain. (I think this stems back to my childhood when I wasn't big enough to go on space mountain):)

There are also some really pretty gardens in the world showcase that are towards the back. I love walking thru those.

Is that where British Invasion performs? We went and watched them sing a few songs in February, but I didn't even notice a maze. Does someone have a picture of it??

Sorry, no pics :(
The maze is made up of hedges that are about waist high. Our child had a blast getting from one end to the other. I doubt that it would be much of a challange for an adult who could see over it. This area has a gazeebo in the center where bands play from time to time. It is located in the back of the building with the tea shop.

I like the monorails too! One of the best rides is from Epcot back to the station near the Magic Kingdom at night. (especially if you are staying at the Polynesian.) Does the voice in the monorail at Orlando International sound similar to the voice in the monorails at Disney?

Another overlooked attraction would be the miniature village near Germany, in the World Showcase, at Epcot. The detail is cool, it is outside and just a very relaxing thing to do.

Yes! The monorails! My boyfirend and I got to ride up front with the driver and she was really nice and was telling us a bunch of different stuff. The best part was when we passed through GF a wedding had just started and as we went over we saw the bride getting out of Cinderella's Coach and walking toward the pavillion!!! It was so beautiful! Then the driver told us that the cheapest wedding at Disney is $10 thousand and that is just to have the wedding there and get to ride in Cinderella's coach... the ultilamte fairy tale wedding is $70 thousand!!! She didn't say what was all included with that. Can you imagine? Wow!

That is a perfect example of why I love the busses and monorail because you get a bunch of fun disney facts!!!

As for hte other stuff listed, I never even nkew some of that exsisted!!!

I think the most over looked attraction is most of EPCOT. Not MS, TT, SSE and soon to be soarin, but all of the subtle things that make this park great. Some have said the garden maze, the LGB train in germany, I like walking into the mexico pavilion. Too many people I talk to go to the park ride the major stuff and leave the park. Just walking around the park is an attraction, stop and watch the monorail pass by spaceship earth(great photo op). You could say the same for all parks but I think Epcot is the most over looked.

I just thought of another one. If you stick around Epcot after Illuminations and go shopping for about 45 mins the park will empty out, then you can go over to the Fountain of Nations and watch an incredible show all by yourself in the dark with all the neat lights and everything. It's SO awesome. Most people don't have much time to stop and watch it during the day so watching it after the park closes is great.

I love to just walk around the Magic Kingdom and shop/ enjoy all the different things to look at. I went most recently with my parents who did not ride everything and we had a great time watching all the little shows, going in the different shops, and enjoying just the atmosphere. People watching is my 2nd favorite!

Last summer I was on TTA at about noon, and it was a GREAT spot to map out character greetings, after we were done we got our photo taken with Goofy, Buzz, Alice, and Belle.

I know there's a list of some on Deb's site, but I was wondering what are your favorite overlooked things to do at WDW?

A couple of my favorites...
Riding the monorails just for fun
Hanging out on the beach at Poly
Fantasia Mini Golf

I would say monerails for fun....I love it!

Some of my fondest memories are those of the Main Street, USA inhabitants like the Mayor, the Studios Streetmosphere characters from Public Works or the "Hollywood" types, and the various performers and comedians that are found in the World Showcase at EPCOT.

From hilarious skit or impromtu acting to amazing artistic performances, WDW has some incredibly talented people on showcase.
