What are your Disney trip essentials?

We leave in a few days & I should probably think about packing. But since this trip is a secret surprise for our daughter we can't really pack right now. She doesn't miss a thing, plus she is super nosy lol! I am actually shocked that I have been able to keep this trip a secret from her. Anyway, we are planning to get all our packing done the morning we leave after we drop her off to school & have everything in the car & ready to go by the time we pick her up from school. I am just praying we don't forget anything. I found some really great packing lists for Disney on Pineterest.

So what are some of your must have items that you always pack for Disney trips?

- Spreadsheet with all of your restaurant, hotel, and flight confirmation numbers
- iPad with Disney movie loaded to watch movie on during the flight/drive
- Nintendo DS to play in line (yes, we are 2 30+ adults who play DS while waiting)
- Tissues
- Collapsible water bottle
- Carry bag for the day in the park
- Tissues
- Sunscreen
- Lifesavers
- Granola Bars (Not chocolate covered, they will melt if you carry them during the day)
- Extra Carry-on Bag (The bf carries a backpack down as his carry-on - On the way home, if the souvenirs take up too much room, he will use the extra carry-on and use the backpack as his personal item, giving us enough room to get the suitcase closed)
- Autograph book and pen

Man, now I want to start packing! I'm at the point where I'm starting to clean so the house looks nice when we get home, and my mom doesn't see how messy it is when she comes to care for our kitties!

I just pack up my entire house and load it in the back of the SUV, just kidding....it just looks like that when I unpack the car.

Since we drive, I have one of those large storage bin boxes with the snap on lid that is permanently packed with everything we need for our trip - bowls, cups, utensils, coffee mugs, electric tea kettle, etc. - we eat breakfast in our room. I have a lovely Disney tote bag that is always packed with the important things - print out of our trip details, electronic device chargers (and after some of the above suggestions, I'm going to throw a power strip in the big Disney box), ears, autograph book and I just add the camera and tablet for the trip. All I have to pack then is my clothes and the food/snacks for that particular trip. Like I said, it looks like I'm moving in to Disney. And one side of my closet looks like an outlet shop for the Emporium with all the tote bags, extra ears, t-shirts, hoodies I've collected.

There's virtually nothing you can't buy at WDW, but the items I always make sure not to forget are our photo IDs, prescription medications, my phone and camera (with chargers!), toothbrushes/toothpaste, MagicBands, touring plans/FP+/ADR info., and clean underwear. All else is superfluous. :)

Other things you might wish to pack are:
- an autograph book/pen for your daughter to use in meeting characters (any little note pad or journal-style book would suffice)
- zip-loc quart-sized bags (for your 3-1-1 bag if packing liquids/gels in your carryon, and also to keep items dry when going on wet rides, storing leftovers and knick-knacks -- there are a thousand uses!)
- a First-Aid "mini-kit" with Tylenol, Band-Aids, blister pads, alcohol wipes and antibiotic ointment (toss a few of each in a sandwich bag for your purse, and you're good to go!)
- snacks for the road (for my kids, easy, non-messy things like fruit gummies, Twizzlers, carrot sticks and grapes are always a big hit)
- an activity/coloring/sticker book to keep your daughter occupied during the trip
- a small amount of Woolite or other detergent, in case you need to do some laundry.
- sunglasses and sunscreen for everybody

if you're traveling with kids make sure they each have their own backpack with the following
1)snacks
2)small toys figurines, handheld puzzle things, cards, game boy, etc (looking for small and time consuming
3)at least one change of clothes you never know what will happen in the airport , ride to hotel, airplane
4) small (baby size) blanket and travel pillow to make them comfortable on plane or in car.

make sure each child has there own things no need to share this cuts down on fights lol

Moleskin also works great on inside of clothes for those itches sponts. Body Glide for my legs. Extra contacts lens.
Band-aids, all sizes & shapes. Small power strip, chargers for electronics. Hat. Always throw a light blanket in the suitcase.
