I know that you said that you don't like French history as much as that of other countries, but Fatal Purity by Ruth Scurr is a really good book. It is a biography of Robespierre, who I consider to be one of the most interesting people in modern history. I'm reading Haunted by Chuck Pahalnuik. For the next year and a half I will have the freedom to read whatever I want, and I am so excited about it!
