Me and my friend Sara plan to go as nuns just because it's completely out of character for us...

Plus wouldn't you love to open your door on Halloween to two nuns?

Nice! I had to laugh at this one! Okay so I am a proffesinal dinner theatre performer and my last show we did "Nunsense 2" and I was Sister Mary Leo, and exactly one yuear ago from today we closed "The Sound of Music" and i was "Sister Sophia" and I have to tell ya, playing a nun is sooo much fun. Seriously, you have no idea how great it is until you actually do it. For SOM we used actual nun habbits...but for Nunsense we got them froma costume shoppe...they are not cheap either! But have fun with that! Take TONS of pictures. My dad always has my nun pix and shows them to his friends and costumers telling them i joined the convent.

Oh and another reason why this whole nun thing is funny is because besides those 2 shows, every single show I have done I have been a hooker, or some sort of ditzy dancer (ChaCha/Grease...Middle Soul Girl/Jesus Christ Superstar...cheerleader/Songs For a New World...Middle Gala Girl/To save The Planet)...so it was quite ironic to play a nun...TWICE! :)

I still am a huge fan of my pedestrian costume. Or I'll go up to people's doors and be like, "I'm serious, I'm just a homeless guy... can you spare some candy?"

I don't know what I'll be. I HAVE to dress up for work. I teach preschool, so it's got to be a child friendly costurme. No French Maids. lol

Ask Christy for the Tinkerbelle costume, she showed me one the other day, I'm sure the boys would love it.

And Ali....no nunning for me...I'll leave that to you.

For the past few years I've always dressed up while performing the candy distribution duties on Halloween. Never anything too crazy or scary so that the wee ones would be scarred for life. A few years ago I was the TinMan from the Wiz of Oz. It's amazing how much alum. foil you need for this costume.

Another time I was the Hunchback when Disney's version was released. Good ol' Wilson soccer ball did the trick along with some old clothes from 1989. :)

I LOVE Halloween! I used to do my front lawn as an elaborate cemetary with mechanical things and everything! But we hardly get any trick or treaters anymore, so I stopped :(

Where I used to work, we all dressed up for Halloween and brought in treats and had a little party. I have been Sharon Stone from The Quick and the Dead (it was a joke ;) ), Cruella DeVille, a jester and Maleficent.

Where I work now, the folks just arent quite as festive. I'll probably wear head to toe black and give myself a Halloween French mani and wear a Halloween pin. Since its a Friday, I MAY get some actual trick or treaters so I will drag out either Cruella or Maleficent...just in case.

I love Halloween. I think it is so fun to dress up and decorate. I decorate more on Halloween than I do Christmas I think.

I dress up if we are going out or having a Hal. party and I can dress up at work, though I generally don't. I was thinking about dressing up as a pirate this year if I go out or to a party. I could dress up even if I don't go out and hang the candy out to kids.
