And find somebody to help pay it off...maybe a rich husband.

Just find someone that has worked extremely hard their whole life and has become successful because of it. Of course, I'm hoping no one would marry for money though. Mom always told me to watch for those girls that are in it for the money, at least I finally found one that isn't, she loves me for me. As for the $18,500 credit limit, I should do it one month and see the reaction on my dad's face. :goodnevil Oh that's mean, I could never do that. I love my parents and thank them all the time for everything they have given me. Work on your credit, establish good creidt, and watch your limit rise. That's all you have to do (besides have the funds to pay it off).

I can't imagine if my parents paid off my credit cards. Insane!!

Anyway, I applied for this card last year and was denied. Not sure why as we have several credit cards, a house, a couple cars, have never been turned down for a loan. We have really good credit. I'm wondering if I should apply again next year.

Is this a difficult card to get or did I just have bad luck?

I too was denied the card after my first application but less than 6 months later I reapplied asuming I would again be denied but was very surprised when I recieved my shiny red card in the mail. I use it to pay my insuarance, cell phone, and gas when my band is on tour.

Certain things give you double points such as DIsney purchases. If you purchase $250 in one calender month on certain items you will be earning 2% instead of the 1%. That's another bonus to get it now.

Yep... mine says over $250 a month.... pffffft but thats easy... thats the car insurance, cell phone, and broadband bills right there. :sohappy:

Do you think it would be smart to apply for the card online or over the phone? I've never gotten any offers in the mail but I see it all over the internet. Any I REALLY want this card since most of my credit card bills now are disney. I just wasnt sure if it would be smart to do it over the internet or not. Any suggestions? Thanks!! :p

Definitely Worth looking into!

We have the Disney Visa, and were able to save 120 Disney dollars, which we used on our vacation in April. We are already saving up for our next trip! It's great, as we used that money for food and some shopping! If you are looking for
a credit card with low interest, I'm sure there are many other options out there
for you, but I think the perks with the Disney Visa are worth it! Hope this helps..

I did mine online as well, I made sure it was a secure site and that my anti-virus/firewall stuff was all working so that noone could hack into my computer while filling out the application. I don't know which is easier but I thought the online one was fast and smoothe.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I had actually received my new Disney Visa cards in the mail just a couple of days before I started the thread but wasn't sure about the perks. I've made my first couple of purchases, and just need to get my bill so I can pay it and start earning those Disney Dollars!!

I'm sure once I start getting a bill I'll start getting info about the current incentives. Who'da thunk I'd actually look forward to a credit card bill?? :veryconfu

Register your account online. You can track your purchases and make payments too, if you want. You can check all the current/new offers and they will also email you close to your payment due date.

How do I do that? I'm assuming I still need to wait to get my first statement?? I guess I'll try the website and find out. Thanks for the tip.
