What are the odds of Hollywood a Studios being renamed MGM Studios?

Taking into consideration, how little we have heard about was possibly happening in the parks, I can think of no reason why they would have to change anything concerning the name. It is still seeming going to be based on a variety of IP's that originated from theirs or other "studios", nothing is changing. Movie Studios, Music Studios, TV Studios, Animation Studios and Live performance venues. Why would it ever need to change.

Yes, I know they (Bob) announced the a name change might be possible, I stick with the idea that if I had $100.00 for every time Disney announced something that they didn't do... I wouldn't have to frugal during my retirement.

I think it will be called: Disney's Florida Adventure.

I'm especially looking forward to the "Ask Me About My Grand kids Jamboree".

As I has read there is going to be a name change, I'm suspecting that it will be renamed to MGM studios again, Disneys Florida Adventure or Disneys Orlando Adventure but that's all I got. Are my hopes up to high or is it a good chance the original name will return.

1. There will most likely be a name change. This comes directly from Iger's mouth, during a slip-up he made in a Q&A panel when asked by a six year old kid.

2. MGM and Disney had a less-than-amicable divorce. The park will not be going back to "Disney-MGM Studios" any time in the foreseeable future.

3. The most likely name change would be "Disney's Hollywood Adventure" because it's a movie themed park, and for them to choose anything else would mean they'd have to completely gut it, rebuild, and retheme the entire park.

The odds of DHS going back to the MGM name are the same as Beastly Kingdom being built instead of Avatarland.

Don't remind me. Abandoning a timeless, classic theme with a ton of potential for creativity and replacing it with a fad that nobody cares about anymore due to Avengers and pretty soon Star Wars coming back. I know more Avatar movies are going to be released, but will anybody really care? The big thing in the first was the CGI, but now that we've all seen it I'd assume the next movies are just going to be improvements upon that, maybe add underwater areas, but nothing to really have any sort of the same wow factor. And the writing in the first movie was awful.

Building major attractions themed to Star Wars makes sense to me. In 20 years, movies or no movies, people will still be fans of Star Wars. It's proven itself to be rather timeless.

But Avatar? Do people even still care about Avatar *today*, let alone 20 years from now. It just doesn't seem wise to invest that amount of money in turning a major section of one of the theme parks into something based on a single movie that doesn't yet seem to have the staying power. I just don't get it.
