What are the chances MGM gets a clone of the DCA Monsters INC ride?

Is there enough room for that in the building that housed Millionaire? I'd be more than happy if that's the replacement.

Chances are slim to none and slim just left town.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire: Play It will become a Toy Story attraction.

not another toy story themed attraction.
dont get me wrong i loved both toy story films but if they make too many attractions themed to toy story it will kill it,people will be sick of seeing toy story.
i would like a incredibles themed attraction, the movie was a big hit and the mr and mrs incredible meet n greets always have big lines at least they do everytime iv been at WDW.

or maybe disney should make a entirly origional attraction eg like everest or RnRC.
something compleatly made up,i think that MGM needs more of these sort of rides, not based on a film.
i know that the whole idea behind MGM is movies, but i think that it needs some more origional rides ideas.
anyone else.

I totally agree with you. Maybe Disney shouldn't be thinking about making Disney movies into rides

Don't forget...

MONSTERS, INC. themed attraction coming to Tomorrowland in the old "Timekeeper" building.

That ought to be good for a "Monster" fix when you need one, and it sounds like some parts will be unique to the Florida Park!

There is one in Research and Development:wave: And the ride system is quite interesting from what we've been told. Do a search and you will most likely find the information in another TK thread.

I can't see another Monsters, Inc type ride since the Laughing Floor is coming to to MK's Tomorrowland. The ride slated for Millionaire's spot is Midway Madness based on Toy Story characters.

What i would love to see is a monsters inc refurb of ellen's energy adventure. It would fit and it would make sense to put it there.

Correction, it would not fit at all. Yes, Monsters Inc was about creating power with screams/laughter. But that is a make-believe form of energy, UoE is all about REAL forms of energy and how it is created and formed by nature.

One is real, one is not! They should not be intermingled. Having Monsters Inc overlay of UoE would send mixed signals, and would change the attraction from an informative educational attraction, to a goofy attraction about fake energy sources.

Correction an opinion cannot be wrong. And the real energy/fake energy thing is easy to work around with a change of the ride's story line. This is why they have imagineers.

Thank you! I've been saying this ever since people have been clammoring for a MI UOE. It would not fit!

But anyway, MI is going into Tomorrowland in MK as the Laugh Floor.

I have been on Monsters Inc. ride at DCA this past June, and I wasn't impressed. I'd rather they bring the Indiana Jones attraction from Disneyland. It may be just the Dinasaur ride in a different disguise, but at least the theming and the thrill are way more than the Monsters Inc. ride.

YES! Just what Epcot needs, less science and discovery, and more animated characters and cheap thrills! Remember kids, learning is hard!
